>Generally you're not. When possible, you pick the better one for the job and keep the other ready. Coordinating the two is not easy, so if you can solve a problem with one strike, you tend to do it that way. It helps this has not been a very difficult encounter. In more pressing situations, it is about finding opportunities and making sure the weapons do not get in each other's way.
