>All of the gaps are the same size in the circles themselves, though they can get quite a bit tighter where more than one circle overlaps.  Directly ahead, for now, is not overlapping.

>You move rightward, closing more in on the circles expanding from that direction, as well as a couple bullet arcs coming from that direction. Still, they aren't an immediate threat just yet. The stuff from the left continues to come from that direction, expanding outward with gaps widening in some places, while others are filled as other circles intersect with them. Some are coming from ahead now as well.
