: Well, no, I haven't, but I'll gladly take the task!

: Wait, I think something's missing... Ah, of course.

: HEY YOU! WAKE UP!

*snore* Wha..? Whozawhat...

: It's update o'clock!

Oh, right.

The very first block of this dungeon is an interesting one. It's a big hall with a pyramid-like structure. One side has stairs that lead to an altar. You can look inside the pyramid from up there.

The "pyramid" lacks the top, and it opens into halls below it. They usually aren't flooded, so this here is a rare occurrence. There's not much down there, just four small, usually locked rooms. Also, it's hard, sometimes even impossible, to get out of there. Unless you can fly, of course, but since this one is flooded, we'd be surrounded by aquatic enemies if we went down, so let's not.

Anyway, this block also has some corridors above the hall, but you can't normally get into them from down here. So we explore the next one and find the way up there.

The dungeon, by the way, is full of Monks. As enemies, they're the same as warriors, but with some extra magic resistance. Nothing hard for us.

This dungeon also has a few gargoyles and LOTS of Orc Shamans. I got tired of dealing with their Fire Storms, so I'll definitely make a trinket with a Fire Resistance spell when I'm out.

Eventually, we find our target.

: So, another fool tries to stop my advance. Fall before my might, insect!

: Oh, I'll show you who's the fool here. Hint - it's not me!

AI + ground edge = assured suicide. Enemies always go straight at you, only rarely stepping back or to the side only to try and go straight at you again. They don't normally walk off the edges, but if your attack pushes them back, they can make one step too many. Like here - a few blasts of Master Spark from where this guy couldn't hit us made him lose his footing and plummet to his doom.

: How anticlimactic.

Be careful, though. This can cause enemies to just fall through the floor into the Void instead. Avoid such situations if you want to loot the body or need to make sure the enemy's dead (like for a quest here).

By the way, this platform is above the pyramid we were at when we entered. We can even see the hole at the top from here. Also, there's a ledge along the other walls at this altitude. It can't normally be reached, but if you can fly easily, check it out as well, there are quite a few loot piles up there.

Anyway, we explore the rest of the dungeon, and behind one of the locked doors (which didn't unlock so we had to break it; yeah, you can break down the locked doors here) we find...

: Oh, hey, if it isn't Alice!

: ...Marisa, is it necessary for you to break into every room along your way?

: Of course it is! But it's quite a surprise to meet you. What are you doing here?

: Well, what does it look like? Studying local magic, of course!

: Hey, what a coincidence! Why don't we join forces, then?

: No thanks. You'll just steal the results in the end.

: Oh, come on, I'm not THAT bad.

: Look, I prefer solitude while I work, okay?

: Well, if you say so. Take care!

Speaking of which, it's a good idea to work on our own magic once we're out of the dungeon. First off, I made a bracelet of fire protection, like planned, but also made a ring of shock protection, in case we meet more human spellcasters - their favorite spell is a melee-range electric bolt. Next, let's check out that candle we get as the reward.

Not bad. With this and that shirt we have, we won't need fireball as a spell, since it's actually pretty costly.

Speaking of which, time to revamp our attack spells. I made the same set (sans fireball), with same casting costs, but with minimal base damage and 3-4 per-level damage. We're level 12 at the moment. Yeah, we can literally burn everything in our path now.

So, next quest.

Oh, it's another prophesy thing. Well, there's a second way to do it, so let's take it. After visiting Acolyte, don't go fetch the Oracle, but go straight to the noble instead.

: I... don't see any point in that. I mean, he's just sitting here being worried, not actively looking for his lover. Why can't he sit somewhere else?

Daggerfall logic. But let's help him and find his beloved one in the dungeon he mentioned.

The dungeon is full of wereboars, which fall to just a few blasts of our magic, harpies, which aren't really dangerous and fall in melee easily, and ghosts, which hit hard, but are very vulnerable to our new magic. But also, this dungeon has dragonlings. They're very resistant to magic, so melee is the only choice. They're tough and hard to hit, and their fire breath hurts a lot (and is actually just a melee attack, so the bracelet won't help here).

: Ow... Even small dragons are strong, huh...

Eventually, we find and rescue the lady.

: Prophetic dream, huh? What a coincidence!

Well, we return and reunite the lovers.

: So wait, he doesn't believe an ORACLE'S dream is prophetic, but his lover's is? What's wrong with this guy?

Love is blind. Or something.

Anyway, we found a magic item in the dungeon.

Adds agility when worn. Good to have on in any dungeon.

: Again?

Well, if it involves a dungeon crawl, who are we to complain?

: Right.

So, this dungeon has a new variety of human enemies.

Spellswords. Both a mage and a warrior. Means we have to deal with spellcasters on a regular basis this time. In addition to close-range shock spell, it turns out they can also throw fireballs. Well, good thing I have those two elemental trinkets! These humans are quite formidable in melee as well, though. And guess what, our paralysis staff doesn't want to work on them consistently.

: Why did you make it, again?

To see that it's not worth the price, it seems.

Also, there are a lot of Fire Daedra here. They're quite strong in melee, but we have ice spells for a reason!

Also, there's quite a number on iron golems atrona-- screw it golems, but they're not the ones we look for. Eventually, we find the one.

It's a fire one and... the daedra consider it their bro?

: This looks like a hot party, but it's time for you guys to chill out!

Not pictured: two more fire daedra to the left that clearly didn't like the puns. Also, learned the hard way that if they stay too far, they can actually cast Fire Storm. In short, we barely survived this one.

Anyway, we return to the guild, and there are some good news!

: Sounds like something awesome! Can we try it out?

We can, but the nearest summoning date we'd want is in two months.

: What the hell?! What am I supposed to do all this time?!

Do quests until you're the Archmage?

: Too dull!

Well, why don't you fight the Archmage right away to take over the place?

: Good idea. I might just do that.

Well, the Archmage is in the library now.

: ...I didn't expect that.

: Hello, Marisa.

: Uh, Patchy, why are you here?

: I like reading books.

: That's not what I meant!

: I'm the head of the guild. And I don't like that you wanted to take over my place here.

: Well, I'm better fit to take it and I'm gonna show you that now!

The resulting battle almost brought down the whole building, so both were booted from the guild. The end.

Well, those were the adventures of Marisa, a book thief and a--

: Hey...

Huh?

: Do I... really look like a pillow?

...Yes. You look soft and fluffy.

: ...I see. Goodbye then.

Geez.

Anyway, trying out all the magic can do was interesting. It's not obviously overpowered, but when you get things rolling, nothing can stop you. Things can be hard at first, but by the end magic can be way stronger than weapons. And lowest HP growth isn't all that much of a problem, really. Well, that ends this run.

...But I can't leave the most curious bit unexplained, now can I?

BONUS: So, daedra summoning...

This is the daedra summoner of the Mages Guild. On certain days of the year, you can summon a certain daedra lord. They're pretty much the gods of this world, and if you talk to them, they offer you an artifact if you do a quest for them. The quests aren't any harder than any others, but frankly, artifacts aren't all that good. It's usually just a weapon or some other item with several standard enchantments. The price to summon a daedra lord is very high - over 100k gold! And did I mention they might decide not to answer? You can try to summon them again in the same day, but that's another 100k. Really, you can just make an item or a few with similar effects of you want to.

But there ARE a few artifacts with unique effects. For example, meet Sanguine.

Charming fellow, isn't he? Here's his artifact.

If you use it, it summons a Daedroth that fights for you! It's... useless. The beastie distracts enemies it fights with, but it's not too effective at actually fighting.

Okay, let's try another one.

...Uh... yeah. This is... Sheogorath. He's... being Sheogorath as usual, I guess? Anyway, how can you say "no" to such a dandy chap like him?

...err... Make a SAN roll?

Anyway, this quest needs you to go through TWO dungeons, but then you finally get your reward.

Now, Wabbajack is a staff with a unique effect. No, it's not "crashing early versions of the game", that one's not unique. Say, you meet a powerful enemy.

: I'll swallow your soul!

Well, just hit it with that staff!

: *swears in Daedric*

Useful, isn't it? Well, the creature the victim turns into is random. They say it can even turn into a lich, but other possibilities aren't too strong, and if used against extremely dangerous enemies it makes things easier in any case.

Okay, NOW we're done with this run. It was a fun ride. There's more to go, so until then!

SPOILER: I actually already started the next character. It's a bit harder than pure mage, but I'm having quite a blast! Please watch warmly...

So, what kind of character could be harder but more fun than a pure mage? Well, staves were weak, but not the worst weapons. That actually would be daggers. They're even weaker, break really fast, and aren't any faster than other weapons (which I expected after Morrowind). Even fists have their advantages over them. The only upside is that even good ones are very cheap and light. So, let's try a character that uses daggers! There are other weapons in "short blades" category as well, but let's use only daggers for the challenge. So, meet the girl that will help me with this task!

: Just one question. Why ME?

Well, don't you like killing things?

: Not really.

What about back when you went berserk? Something about cutting necks or whatnot...

: It was just that one time and I didn't know what got over me! Could you please stop bringing it up?

But seriously, your mistress came up and asked me to arrange a "vacation" for you here. Could I really have said "no" to that? Especially since that would probably mean having a Gungnir shoved somewhere I don't want to?

: That last part was a bit too extreme. But other than that - yes, this is so much like her. She did tell me to "go and have fun" here. Well, I don't mind much, then.

Good. Now, there are no throwing daggers here, but we'll still need something in case we'd need to avoid melee. Let's use short bows. Also, there isn't any time magic here, so let's compensate with just the maximum speed.

: Sounds good.

Also, let's have the maximum Personality. Everyone's gotta love the perfect and elegant maid.

: Oh, you...

What else... No plate armor, normal health growth, pretty fast leveling. That's about it. Time to start our adventure in the kingdom of Dwynnen!

We start with a full suit of chain armor (let's not use helmets, they're ugly), a pair of steel daggers, an EBONY one in case of emergency, an ELVEN shortbow and some arrows.

A few words about bows. When you hit someone with an arrow, it may still "hit" or "miss", but you can pick up all arrows you've shot at someone when they're dead, so those 20 arrows are enough. The only problem with the bow is that it only shoots horizontally. Also, there's an exploit we can use. You see, when you change your weapon in the inventory screen, you need to wait a bit before you can use it once you're back in the game world. For bows, that delay is very long. But if you enter the inventory screen again, the delay countdown keeps going. You can wait it out and return to the game world with the weapon already usable. Very useful when you can't afford to waste time, like when an enemy walks straight at you. Let's just write it off to Sakuya's time manipulation.

Also, something about weapons in general I kept forgetting to tell about. Never, NEVER use iron stuff. It has a damage penalty instead of bonus like other materials. Some hits will cause no damage and will count as misses. Since that means no pushback, it's makes fighting harder than it's supposed to be.

: So, where does one find adventures in this land?

Well, let's try the Fighters Guild!

We also need to join a temple. The local temple in this kingdom is the School of Julianos, god of wisdom and logic.

: I'm no savant.

Strangely, short blades are one of their favored skills, so you'll be welcome there. Ironically enough, I don't see much logic in that, but who are we to complain?

: I don't believe in gods.

Says someone who lives in a land where you can share a drink with one. Or many.

: ...You got me there.

Libraries are of no interest to us, but they have quite a few other services we could use. But for now, let's see what quests the Fighters Guild gives.

Travel to another town, kill one animal. No trouble at all.

: ...I imagined I'd be given something more exciting.

Yeah, they have quite a few boring quests like that. Let's see what the temple can give us instead.

Dungeon crawl. That's more like it.

For a dungeon, we should prepare better.

Bought a bunch of steel and silver daggers, a few elven ones, even found a mithril one. When I said that daggers break fast, I wasn't joking. We can go through 2-4 of them per dungeon. But as I said, they're cheap, even good ones. Also bought a hooded cape because it looks cool.

The castle looks like... two towers. Not like it makes the dungeon any special.

: Let's see what this place has to offer!

Tossing the cape on the horsecart (never go adventuring without one!), Sakuya enters the dungeon. Inside, we encounter...

...Figures. It's full of skeletons, the worst nightmare of a low-leveled character. They're hard to hit with our low skill, so we have to rest after just a few of them.

: This place is so tough... But I won't back out.

That said, we have to rest for a pretty long time. Marisa could restore all her magicka in 8 hours, then use it to heal anything. For Sakuya to heal fully, she needs to rest over 12 hours. The quest's time limit allows us to take our time, thankfully.

There are also a lot of spiders here. Thankfully, they're much easier to hit, and rarely paralyze successfully.

While the dungeon isn't easy, we do raise our skills like mad. Enough for two full level-ups, actually. Eventually, we find our target, knock him out and return him to the temple. Let's see, maybe the guild has something interesting too, after all.

Yeah, a dungeon crawl!

So, in this dungeon we meet... skeletons and spiders again. Boneheads are a bit easier with higher skills now, but still trouble. But also, we meet something that happens to be even worse.

Spriggans. They're harder to hit now than skeletons were at the start of the first dungeon. We have to rest after ONE of them. We only met a few, but still, I didn't expect them to be this tough!

Anyway, we find and kill the werewolf (who's easy after what we faced so far), and report the quest. Let's take one from the temple again.

The low time limit is a bit scary, but let's risk it. In the dungeon we find... You ready? Skeletons and spiders. AGAIN. Talk about bad luck. We're more or less competent against skeletons by this point, thankfully.

Eventually, we find our target.

Yes, it's the throne hall with the broken bridge. And yes, he's on the floating block.

: Whoa. How did he get there?

Who knows? He won't tell, but he really needs our help here. We find the switch that brings the bridge back together and escort the guy back to the temple.

By the way, by this point I tested one thing and... it's much easier to hit skeletons with better daggers. I was using steel, saving better ones for when I'd need them, but by now I have enough of them. I managed to buy quite a number of elven and dwarven, even a few mithril ones, so it's about time to drop steel and silver. Bought a few dwarven bows as well.

By the way, by now we did enough quests to get our first promotions!

: They sure like using smart words for nothing, don't they.

Yeah, the first promotion in the temple gives nothing but a good laugh. But it's the good stuff from now on.

: So, Fighters Guild should give one too now, right.

Yes, but... they don't.

: Huh? Why?

No idea.

: ...They don't look like a good group to follow.

Yeah. The quests are boring, no useful rewards. Let's abandon them and follow the temple for now. I'm sure something interesting will turn up in time.

Prophet quest again. I want to show something, so let's take it. This one is no different, the prophet's lover is silent, the prophet is an asshole. Let's take another quest in the meantime.

Okay, let's try this one again as well.

: She doesn't look much like a knight.

Maybe she's in retirement. Or just off-duty.

: ...Not a word about the child.

Let's see the kid for ourselves.

: Possessed or not, this is disturbing.

We visit the priest, and she does say the daedra's name is real, so she gives the statue to us. We visit the girl again.

: Hey, wait, we weren't supposed to give her the statue...

No, but she's already off with it.

: And there's no Daedroth...

Nope.

: We need to visit the knight lady for explanations.

Yep.

...And she isn't here.

: Looks like we were tricked.

Yeah, but maybe someone knows something.

The girl says she's in a certain house in this town. We easily find it.

: Next time think better before trying to make a fool of someone armed and dangerous!

After this fun diversion, let's return to the prophet quest. Some time passed, so let's visit the cleric in prophet's hometown again.

...He's not there.

Time to visit the lover again.

The "prophet" is clearly insane, if the last time didn't convince you.

Okay, that's a bunch of quests done, time to rest a bit. We'll see what other adventures await us on our--

...Sakuya?

Just a small aside, but my dungeon exploring skill reached a new level. The "too lazy to do this block-by-block, so finding a path to go through the WHOLE dungeon in one circle" level.

Also, by the end of her first update Sakuya already reached level NINE. Yeah, that Short Blade skill grows like mad.

Glad to know you're enjoying it!

---

So, Dark Brotherhood sent their "invitation" to us. Let's pass on the reason we caught their eye.

: Who are this "Dark Brotherhood"?

An old guild of assassins, widely spread throughout the whole continent. Technically, they're illegal, but everyone uses their "services" anyway.

: Should we join them?

Why not? Unless you dislike killing humans since all their missions involve that.

: Actually, I'm better at doing that than facing assorted monsters, so no objections.

So, we visit the person we were told to. It turns out to be an alchemist.

: A more subtle approach, huh?

I find it somewhat interesting that our target's last name is different from the name of the residence, but that's not a rare occurrence in Daggerfall. Anyway, the house thankfully wasn't locked and we didn't meet anyone inside. A perfect opportunity.

: ...The wine is green?

Good thing I'm not interested in local alcohol beverages.

Anyway, after poisoning the drink and putting it back, we report to our contact.

: I wonder, how exactly will I be able to tell if there is a Dark Brotherhood guild around?

You just will. Consider it a blessing of Mephala, the Daedra Lord they worship.

: But I already serve a deity here.

Don't worry, just doing your job for them is enough.

Anyway, this is the Dark Brotherhood building.

Doesn't look any special from outside, but deep inside hooded figures do their dark business. Like the questgiver.

Oh hi, Ezio!

So, let's get into the "business" ourselves, shall we?

"Accounting" is the euphemism they use for their "business", obviously. Anyway, due to our rapid level growth, mages can be a trouble at this point, but hopefully we'll only meet one, so let's try it.

So, we go to the tower and...

...it looks more like a small castle. Wow.

Inside we are met by a Thief.

: Hold it! You can't just enter here!

: Oh really? And why?

: Uh... You're not allowed to?

: Sorry, I have business with a certain Peroryan Coppersley here.

: What business?

: Let's just say it does NOT involve talking.

: Ugh, you look tough.

: That's because I am.

: ...Listen, I'm not paid enough to get skewered for his sake. If you want to stick those knifes of yours into him, go ahead. He hired a lot of thugs to guard him, though.

: My, I can't pass up on such an offer.

With high Personality, Sakuya's chances of meeting an enemy that won't fight are higher. It's not too high and most will still fight her, but it's nice to see those that won't.

Anyway, the dungeon's full of thieves and rogues. Compared to skeletons, they're easy. When I found the mage, I could just pelt him with arrows from afar, so there wasn't any trouble.

: Sparkcaster? That's an interesting term.

: That's how everyone calls troublesome mages after a recent incident in Ilessan Hills. Some mage that liked screaming "Master Spark" burned down a whole building or something.

: Now why does this sound so familiar?

Let's get on with business.

: I guess this is what happens when you refuse the offer.

The dungeon is full of undead. We encounter mummies, which are easier skeletons, and ghosts, which have painful attacks and paralyzing spells. But also, the enemy I've been dreading to meet.

Zombies. Fast, harder to hit than even skeletons, can take a lot of punishment, and hit strong enough to bring down over half of our health.

: Ow. They're dead already, how can they be this tough?

The only thing that saves us is that they don't do multiple hits in a row. Still, we have to rest even after meeting just one.

Eventually, we find our mark, hidden in an out-of-the-way room.

: Edwyval Yeomsley?

: ...Y-yes?

: Your business ends here.

: No, wait, she'd kill me if I refused!

: Who?

: ...My employer. Let me go and I'll tell you where to find her.

: Sorry, taking care of you takes priority. Wound Sign "Inscribe Red Soul"

I almost feel bad when the target turns out to be a non-aggressive enemy. Anyway, checking her inventory, we find a note.

: This must be the employer.

And to get to her, we need to visit another dungeon. Nice.

Before we go, though, we identify an enchanted ruby we found.

Toxic Cloud is a "hurt everything in sight" poison spell. Quite a number of enemies are immune to poison, but let's still keep this for fighting crowds.

So, on to the Citadel of Masterfield.

It really looks like a citadel. A rare thing in Daggerfall.

Inside we find skeletons, which are no longer a trouble, and wraiths, which are like ghosts but without the paralysis. But also, another new hard enemy.

: They look human, but that skin color...

This is a kind of enemy you should be familiar with.

: ...Vampires.

Yes. They're as bad as zombies combat-wise, except you really, really, REALLY don't want to be hit by them even once.

: Why?

You'd best not know.

Eventually, we find the sole human here.

: Who the hell are you and what are you doing here?

: Edwyval said she couldn't work for you anymore.

: That woman, she'll taste the power of my undead army!

: Don't worry, I took care of her for you.

: Speaking of which... WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!

: Someone who stops whatever it is you're doing.

: Ha! You haven't seen the might of my undead army! No one can stand in the path of my conquest!

: You might have missed it, but I went through your whole army on my way here.

: ...I'm not falling to your blade, wench!

: You've sealed your fate now! Scarred Soul "Soul Sculpture"

...Well, that was quite an adventure.

We report the quest and are ready for our first promotion. But by now it's time visit the temple again.

It took two promotions to get this basic service, but School of Julianos also has a few more interesting things to offer, so let's keep doing quests for them.

The dungeon is full of giants. Their hits can hurt, but they fall easily at this point. Also, there are a lot of ghosts. Their paralysis spells start getting annoying, so I use a trick. If you enter the map screen, time keeps going on. Nobody moves, but spell effects keep acting. So keeping the map open until paralysis wears off gets rid of it without letting enemies try to hit you. Another trick that we can write off to Sakuya's time manipulation.

: So, how do we find Troll's blood here? Find and kill a troll?

There are no trolls in Daggerfall.

: What do we do, then? It wouldn't be just lying around as an item, now would it?

Yes, it will.

: I don't quite understand how some blood from the floor can count as "untainted".

Daggerfall logic.

Anyway, we return to the temple and take another quest.

This is a quest that is unique to this temple.

The dungeon is full of sorcerers and spellswords. The latter are spellcasters, which are dangerous at this point. I learned to keep my distance to provoke them into archery duels. Arrows might hurt, but they're better than being fried in melee range.

Also, this dungeon has another new enemy. One that fully deserves the NSFW tag.

[nsfw]http://i62.tinypic.com/8x0cwm.png[/nsfw]

Meet the nymph. They aren't tough, but their hits also cause double damage to fatigue. Considering being knocked unconscious is instant death when enemies are nearby, it's best not to travel exhausted with them around. Also, it gives quite some thoughts about what they want to do with you since they only try to put you to sleep, but I'll leave it to your imagination. Let's just say that Sakuya is having a lot of fun in this dungeon.

: Yeah, right.

Eventually, we find the nightblade and report the quest. Time to get back to the Brotherhood.

The "graveyard" is just another dungeon, but it's not like we have time to go there outside of quests.

And yeah, we can buy potions here now. Good thing, because School of Julianos doesn't sell them. But now we don't need any since I found a few by now.

Well, that's enough for this time. Next update should come out soon as well. See ya!

I managed to get enough material ahead of time, so this update is up early.

This mission again. The first dungeon is nothing special, lots of thieves, assassins and rogues.

The second one is supposed to be some "tower", but it has a fortress around it. Cool.

Entering the dungeon, we--

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!

: Alright, alright, we're outside again. What's the matter?

That enemy is one of the worst things we can meet.

: Hmm... Hood, purple skin, burning eyes... A vampire again?

Not just "a" vampire. It's the Vampire Ancient. Faster, stronger, but also can rapidly cast shock and paralysis. We can't face them just like that.

: So, what do we do?

Travel to the nearest big city, to the Brotherhood building. Time to stock on potions.

So, I bought about 40 shock resistance and 20 anti-paralysis potions. But it turned out there were only a few Vampire Ancients in there. Now all those potions clutter my wagon inventory (they don't stack). The dungeon is also full of normal vampires, mummies and a few rare skeletons. I'm almost happy to see the last by this point, they're that easy now.

We find the employer and return to report the--

"Your sleep is troubled by nightmares of a beautiful woman whom you murder in a dark place."

...what? No, this can't be happening...

But... but I tried my best to avoid it! Why? Why did this happen?!

*high-pitched scream*

: Relax, we're just sleeping in an inn.

SHUT UP AND RUN TO THE NEAREST TEMPLE!

: What--

NOW!

: Alright, alright...

: What was that?

This nightmare means you're about to become a vampire. Even a scratch from one can give you this otherwise-undetectable disease.

Anyway, we report the quest and take another one.

The dungeon is full of humans again, nothing special.

Of course, we won't discover what it was that he knew.

Anyway, time to visit the temple again.

Instead of potions, School of Julianos sells enchanted items! Nice. We do a few undead exorcism quests for them to jump two ranks next time.

Promotion! Nothing useful this time, though.

We take a few more quests. One is from Mages Guild again, the dungeon is full of assorted humans again.

So, let's visit the cousin.

: Skinny and pale, huh...

The tower is full of undead. Skeletons, ghosts, zombies. We have potions against ghosts with their paralysis now, and zombies aren't that tough by this point. Eventually, we find the one we were looking for.

It's hard to see from here, but Dispibleus is a vampire. All normal vampires are female by the way. Something tells the baron's last name was Maximoff.

: Yes, I know. Thank you for your concern.

We're ready for yet another promotion in the Brotherhood, so let's do a few more undead exorcism quests for the temple.

We end up jumping THREE ranks. The last service that opens is Daedra summoning. But guess what opens one rank before that?

Alright! We also can buy soul gems, but we don't need them. The only thing we lack by now is fire resistance, so I make an item enchanted with it.

How ironic. The shady organization plays White Knight by killing an actual knight.

In the dungeon, we encounter scorpions. Remember how they were tough for other characters? By now, Sakuya's short blade skill is almost maxed, and she takes care of these without a problem. We also meet nightblades and mages. Let's say our potion stash finally sees some use.

: A dirty pig to the end.

: ...Was it a double entendre just now?

: Up to your discretion.

...You know, I thought we were strong, that nothing can present any danger to us by this point.

I was wrong.

This enemy looks human enough. Even his laugh, while evil-sounding, is perfectly human.

This is Dremora, aka Daedra Lord. He's the worst enemy in the game. He can cast both melee-range shock and long-range fireball spells. He hits hard, and can do a lot of hits in a row, killing us in seconds. He's also very hard to hit. Even with almost maximum skill, Sakuya can miss him with her daggers. Shooting him with arrows, even though our archery skill isn't low, is outright useless. This dungeon was the ultimate challenge.

Well, that was a lot. So...

: I'm sorry, but my vacation is over.

What? Already?

: Yes. It was quite fun, but it's time for me to go back.

...All right. Say hi to everyone for me.

OK, it was kinda rushed by the end, but there just wasn't much I could tell about. I had quite a bit of fun trying the harder approaches. I planned to do a few more runs, making them plot-driven this time, but I'm tired of playing, and it seems I'm out of interesting things I could show. So, this is the end of this LP. Many thanks to everyone who followed this.

And you know what? Part of the reason I'm finished with this is that I remembered a few more games I could LP. They'll be more interesting to explain and follow, frankly. Well, I'll take my time until I do another LP, so until then!
