Well, since some people on the IRC expressed interest in the game I decided to revive this topic that I hear was around a couple years ago. Format imitated from the PAD topic, so credit for general layout goes to whoever made the original topic design.

Ayakashi Ghost Guild is an Android/iOS CCG game with really beautiful artwork. It plays like a collectible card game in a way. It's completely free to play, but has premium features through purchasable "gold," the game's premium currency which allow for increased daemon storage, tries at a couple different types of "rare summons", and more.
You can collect all sorts of daemons, from incarnations of gods and goddesses to ancient warlords and heroes to embodiments of various weaponry and a bunch of other things as well.
You alternate between "investigating", where you fill up a progress bar and try to randomly collect daemons, and combat of various types, the man variety of which involves pitting your team of up to five daemons against another's similar team, or a daemon wandering in the wild basicall or as part of the story.
You have three stats:
Health- used for Investigating. Investigating is how you level up, and leveling up is important in this game as I'll describe below.
Attack Spirit(AS): Team cost for your Attacking Team
Defense Spirit(DS): Team cost for your Defense Team
When you finish Investigating a given part of a chapter, you gain what is called an "Ability Point". This can be spent to increase either of the three above stats by 1.
When you level up, you get 3 points.
When you add a new Crewmember(friend), you gain five. If you REMOVE a crewmember(Can only do once a day) you -lose- five points though, and if you don't have any unspent ones they're taken right out of your actual stats!
The above can be used as a way to help you "respec", since different event types will want different stats at higher levels. (Someone more experienced can elaborate.)
(You can also reallocate Ability Points by using "Beef Bowls", with each type being able to remove a different number of points.)
A tip for new players: You can join via an invite code for both you and the one who invited you to get bonuses! These invitee bonuses include "Special Summon Tickets", tickets for a 'free' version of the Rare Summon. Slightly older cards are put in there I hear, so while you can't get the latest and greatest stuff for free, you can get SOMETHING at least, and there are still powerful cards to be found.
EDIT: The above is only half true now it appears, from some peoples' experiences who started at the time of this thread or later. It seems the one to ENTER the code is not getting anything, but someone who had their code USED gets linked, s the invitER still gets stuff. The stuff they get is described below:
Invitee reaches Lv. 5: SS Ticket x 1
Lv. 20 SS Ticket x 2
Lv. 50: SS Ticket x 5
Also, the first time the player you invite receives a 5 star daemon,
you also receive a copy of it for free!EDIT(thanks for the info, Aoshi!): It seems the free 5* thing only works for your FIRST referred person, so keep that in mind.
This invite code can be changed to something easier(it starts out as a random string of letters and/or numbers), but it can only be changed
once.
Please note that one's invite code is only good for -20- shots. Thus, then nunber of free SS Tickets from that that the inviter can get is 160 if all of your invitees reach Lv. 50.
For example, mine is 1790!
