Trying my best to stay updated on the Apex situation, but my lack of experience on Twitter isn't helping lol.
However, based on what I know so far, and despite initial reactions, I'm of the opinion that the fire alarm going off, whether by accident or tomfoolery, may be the most fortunate thing to happen to this tournament. Would you want to spend an entire day in a building with significant structural damage, which you wouldn't know about otherwise? Or hell, run a weekend-long tournament in one, where you're managing literally thousands of people? I don't deny that this is still incredibly stressful for everyone involved, especially the TOs, and I wish them the best of luck figuring something out. But honestly, personal safety should come before all else.
