Well if brick and morter stores get their way you have to skip more then fast food to buy some amiibos. I don't know the full details yet but some may have heard that apparently Shulk is gonna be a GameStop exclusive, and rumor has it they are gonna only have enough for preorders so they can price gouge. But still a rumor nonetheless. Also heard that meta knight amiibo is a best buy exclusive. Honestly I don't want to spend $50 on these, the $13 is fine for me.

I love being in Japan and not having to worry about exclusivity deals.

Marth & Villager are also relatively easy to come by, likely moreso in places not populated by foreigners...

I probably wouldn't mind as much if I didn't play a character that's slow as sin and can have any of his moves punished by a character that fast, but he is a pretty dumb character overall.

The amiibo collection "minigame" seems to be getting more popular the actual game (amongst my group of friends at least). Personally I will stick to Rosalina and Zelda and quit. I don't want to play POkemon with $11 (discount) figures, heh! When I put up the 4 Luigis on Friday, they were all gone by the next Saturday morning and Diddy suddenly is in his spot! Can't tell if popular or just opportunistic Ebayers looking for a quick profit.

I finally played this game at a friends house today. Got to play as most of the people I wanted. I can't comment on movesets, as I had no idea what I was doing. Galagas and beatles were really annoying though. Course, this was 8 players, and the items we had available(galagas, beetles, smash balls, and blue shells) were set to high so...

Oh man Ninjalink's Mega Man at Free Saltines tonight

I really hope Mega Man gets some dedicated tourney-goers picking him up, I love watching this character played at a high level so much ~~even if he's the bane of Dedede's existence.~~

In one it was down to the final two, we both threw galagas, and I got caught in one, and then as it was dragging me, the other guy got caught in one too. Sadly, I still lost.

Is he...somehow resetting himself in midair to get the ability to attack again? Or does the move he's using mostly deal upwards knockback even though it seems to be hitting downward? If so, then his foe moving up while he's stuck on top of him keeps him in midair so he gets to keep pounding away it looks like.
