>Flying forward you take you closer to where they cross. Flying backward might help you get out of their range. But within the arcs themselves, it would be terribly difficult to move between the bullets.

>Somtimes one forgets that you turned away from the oni, thus flipping around what is ahead and behind.  Yes, from your perspective, there is one behind you and one ahead. By "flying backward", I meant leftward or away from where the oni presumably is.

> All right. Just to be safe, let's have a quick review.
> From our current perspective, there is a line right in front of us, and a line right behind us. Flying straight forward or straight backward would fling us right into these lines with basically no hope of avoiding them.
> We have determined that it is very unlikely we have the time to fly upward or downward to avoid these lines, as they are quite vertically wide.
> Turning back to the right, which was originally forward (toward the oni) for us, and flying in that directions would make us eat at least one, if not both, lines.
> Turning left, which was originally backward (away from the oni) for us, would give us a chance to avoid both lines.

>You make your way leftward, backing away from the oni. There doesn't seem to be much of anything come at you from behind, as long as you don't try to overtake the bullets you've already dodged.

>Best is entirely up to you.
>You could try to continue to move away from the oni, but you're far enough away now that you may well go too far. You could try to head toward the arc and move away from the oni. You could try to move above or below it, but this would require you to be between the lines that make up the main skeleton of this attack and be clear from stray shots in one of those directions. You could try to move between the bullets of the arc, but this would be very difficult and has no room for error. There may be other options.
