> After we start moving upward, lean forward with our torso a bit, clasp our hand together, and swing them downward in an attempt to hit the oni in the back of the head with an axe handle strike on her way by. It is okay for the top half of our body to be moving forward with the lower half of our body still being flung upward if letting this happen reduces the amount of energy we spend on halting bodily momentum.

>You zoom upward, the oni's fist passing between your legs. Your fists come down as her head turns upward, and you come much closer than you would like to accidentally bringing your hands down on her horn. But you avoid that, and slam your fists into the back of her head. SHe gives a kind of squawk as she falls to her knees, just barely catching herself before she falsl further, while you twist in midair from the motion, your feet flying upward and a bit above you, leaving you vertical in the air.

> Upside-down in the air is perfect.
> Swoop down with a hand outstretched, aiming at the back of the oni's head. Once we're two feet away from her head, fire a stream of our preferred shot type (arrowheads?) at the back of her head and slow down so we don't collide with her. If we see her starting to turn her head to look behind herself, however, fire our shots early. Tilting her head up is okay to keep waiting on, since she still won't be looking behind her; only fire prematurely with a left- or right-turn.

>You extend your hand and send a stream of arrows at her head. She grunts as you do, staggering and sinking a bit lower. Then suddenly her fist comes up from below, an uppercut aimed directly at you head!

>You lean off to the side, and try to push her arm aside as it comes up. Her fist just grazes past you; you can just feel it brush past your hair, your precautions prevent your arm from getting jarred as it did last time. However, you have a more immediate problem as bright green danmaku blazes into the air in the wake of her fist. Thankfully, none of has touched you immediately, but it begins to float outward as the oni stands up from her uppercut.

>You float backward and right yourself. Before you can counterattack, several of the danmaku shots slam into your chest, torso, and legs as you present a wider profile to it. You can barely hear the oni guffaw over the sudden flash of pain and weakness.
