I am actually not sure myself, because our version updates sometimes =/= JP version updates exactly. Gonna poke around, but I'm gonna guess some balance patches at least.

If balance patches come out for NA it's either wave 1 or both wave 1 and 2

Summary: It seems we got the brunt of JP's Ver 7.2.0 with our 7.1.1, confirming that their version updates =/= ours.

For further clarity, "Helper User Display" is a new feature that lets you turn off those random public users you can find before entering a dungeon that only give 5 pal points and you can't use their leaderskill, found in "Options"... at least I think that's right?

Sorry, I'm just kinda mad that Actual Dragons aren't that great of a thing in this game, especially when everything else seems to at least have something that makes it work, and the only dragons that are actually good are Not Actually Dragons, just things like Awoken Minerva and Uvo'd Uriel.

I guess I'll refrain from commenting on the subject again, I've proven to not know what I'm talking about several times over.

I'm super-legit curious as to how comfortably you think Gabe and Beyzul/I&I can take on the endgame.

That's a very interesting question. Right now I'm inclined to say that it's possible, maybe even comfortable, up to but not including Legend Plus. But that's hard for me to answer for a few reasons.

-My team isn't finished. Not everything is quite max level yet (although it's close), not everything has skillups (and on Beyzul I think it really matters, but I'm 0/7 on him so far), and not everything is even fully evolved. Beyzul and Sun Quan don't have ultimates at all, and Valkyrie has one that sort of exists, but is unknown or unavailable.

-I don't know how to use the team yet. I don't know what my damage output actually is or where I should use which actives, especially the swap.

-I haven't tried it in that many high-end dungeons yet. I've been putting it off because I still need levels and skillups, and may continue doing so for the most part at least until Sun Quan is skillmax.

I figure that 2/4/2 multipliers can handle things up until the boss or some other GTFO attack like Raphael.

I think that's right. On many sub-bosses I can just tank early hits and burst them past the last chunk of their HP. But on the "countdown to insta-loss" ones like Raphael it's trickier. Again, skillmax Beyzul makes this not that much of a thing.

I mean, if you had the option of investing in other team or placing +297s (and maybe a max skilled Beyzul) in this one, would you stay with this team?

I would and will stay with this team. I've invested in it heavily enough that even if Gabriel/Beyzul turns out to be a dead end (and worst case scenario I don't think it's a total dead end, there are definitely some things it's great for) I'm already set up for other potential versions of the team like I&I, doubleult Valkyrie if she has a solid leader skill, or things that don't exist yet.

I don't know the cooldown of your Beyzul, but I think maybe you switch to Beyzul, take shots at Raph till the last turn where you finish him off using your actives and then once you reach sandyphone, you can switch back to Gabby.

That is theoretically possible and probably a great idea, but Beyzul starts with a very long cooldown and has a long road to get to a pretty short cooldown. I'm actively working on skilling him up, but it's a real bitch. And I'm a little worried that they'll pull a Mystic Dragon with him and give him an ultimate with a much shorter maximum cooldown soon and waste the time I spent grinding to skill him up.

I guess also Athena although now that I got me a LZL he's apparently set to be King Swagpants soon enough and I should get working on that team right?  I'm guessing it's probably the same as what I use with Meta/Sandy based on the dungeon needs?
(LZL seems to be a good Athena sub too if I'm reading this right?)

That is correct. I've seen Athenas and/or LZL's just storm through Alt. Dungeons like they're nothing. I would probably prefer Athena being lead for those though, because sometimes you might want to take that hit.

Most of the new dungeons give him a hard time, so he fell out of favor. People don't like grinding, stuff like that.

The game has been very generous so far in giving my Beyzul drops, but none of them (so far) have yielded any skillups. If I got four Wangrens in a row (and I'm sure I will, eventually) I'd be pissed, but four Beyzuls in a row? Sign me up.

But nowadays, sweep is a better option than just waiting tirelessly for dozens of turns to stall for his Active. Once more, if you screw up once, you're pretty much dead.

Also a lot of people have been saying if you're on the AA Luci train, your ability to orb combo decreases, 'cause let's face it, you're using a Leader that you're heavily reliant on his active for. Plus you can only sub Dark monsters, which mean, why bother doing combos when all you've got are dark monsters.

So I suggest you guys stop voting for AA Lucifer and vote for Bastet. She's one tier below the top 30.

If it's the double HP you're after, Uriel is much better now, and Noah is waaaaaaaaaaaaay better than a lot of the Archangel series.

The people who want Archangel Luci are voting him in because he's super forgiving to new players and insanely easy to make a team for when you're learing the ropes. Get a bunch of rainbow keepers and you're done. That whole "you screw up and you're done" doesn't really apply till later dungeons.
You can't slam Luci for being reliant on his active. Most mono color teams are just as guilty if not more so, especially row teams like Sonia.  I don't see how the other non-Raph Archangels are better at tanking. They're just as vulnerable to binds as he his, and the don''t have as much access to nice tanking subs like Luci does. Also, I disagree with Noah. Okay, you have more health, but you're recovery is going to be garbage. Most Noah teams are heavily reliant on actives for heals. She's even slower than Luci because at least he can slot in gravities.

In all seriousness if ANYONE messes up later on they die. I look at it from consistency rates, where any dungeon a stall team can clear will usually have high consistency by default, if they can stand long runs. People can clear stuff with burst, but it might be due to massive skyfall luckshit and whatnot(see: my Dios run), and therefore the consistency is poor. Noah is also REM-reliant for her subs, and Lucifer is not.

Nah you can just throw a bunch of Heras on either team and they work fine (RCU not included).

(at least I can maybe use the dark jewel and chaser to skill up haku? I think? I already have 2 but those are saved for DFagan...)

edit: no skillup. This is worse than last time. I just took a bunch of bullets for everyone so have fun with your gold eggs :v
