I do have a few added, and this is exactly how I use him. I have never ever even gotten to use that active once. He does marvelous enough damage on his own, and moreso if your friend bump combos are positioned.

Yeah I mean his active is very rarely worth the time. Most of the time it barely does 300k while Arthurs and even my Monster Slayer can outdo that when positioned properly.

I'm feeling lazy about rerolling and I'm already attached to Columbia - still, does anyone think these are no good for starting pulls? Or are starting pulls not as important as they are in pad?

No idea about columbia, but Susano is pretty okay to be honest. Laser and a strong skill shot, I think he lacks null grav barrier to help though.

honestly if you don't want to, you can probably just start abusing co-op and such for more orbs to keep rolling, so feel free to keep.

I've only been playing like 5 days.  I have rolled the Rare Hatcher like 15 times.  You can probably start with just about anything and in a few days at most get something really good.

Also I think Columbia's supposed to play pretty well.  I believe Chirei has had some success with a friend-leader one, or her evo'd form which I think is called Independence?

I love playing with Columbias. Her bump attack causes a 16-shot stream of dark homing shots that have smart targeting (If the enemy they were aiming for dies, they automatically u-turn and find the next living target). It's really consistent damage and helps wipe out trash. Her stats also look pretty good later as well.

Much like PAD, it is simply because dark Expies are the default and therefore the most common. Over the weekend there will be Shellmageddon, where you can get Maxpies as well.

I'm going to assume bonus stages here. They alternate between Dark expies/Money turtles, and the battles DO get increasingly tougher despite being the same levels, so do not be surprised if they start doing very large chunks of your life later on despite being bonus enemies.

A victory doesn't feel as rewarding as other games or maybe I'm still too early in the levels. When does the difficulty start to ramp up or require more strategy? It's also hilarious how the game throws money at you, I'm sitting on 6 million for just playing a few days.

The 'Menagerie' series of Normals are I think the first that will make you work amd I hear the set after are a big step up from that.

The game definitely steps it up at the Menagerie levels, and beyond that is just too much for me right now. The first 13 or so dungeons are pretty simple and mindless but you start to see where strategy becomes necessary later on.

I thought I'd give this a shot. Using a Matilda right now. I don't feel like rerolling, so I'm sticking with her.Also rolled again and got an Enfield. Game seems pretty fun and there's multiplayer. Big Plus. I don't care for the art that much though.

With how hard this game vomits orbs at you, that was DEFINITELY worth it. Have fun using best shipgirl.

Also like PAD, art styles seem to be different from mon series to mon series. Some are glaringly worse than others, but I think some are pretty great.

Just like PAD, it seems like the art is done by different people. Some of the art is really nice, while some... Not so much. But to call it all bad is kind of an overstatement.

So, I found out about a super cheaty thing. If you're using line groups to co-op with others. You can run the one time bonus stage endlessly by reusing the same link instead of creating a new one inside the game. I hosted a Castle Redsrath bonus stage (which currently has 2x drops) and invited my friends over and over. Its basically running turtles on hard for 1 stamina cost. We maxed out all our monsters as well as maxed out affinity bonus.

Not sure if it goes away if you host another map or how this really works.
