> "Wh... Well, this sucks... And I've got jack squat of my old stuff on me here... In the middle of the night... Yep..."
> Get out. Worry about your vendetta against the shrine maiden later; just try and remember which way led out of the bamboo forest and take to it.
[5] BONUS: Your next roll gets 1 added to it.
How long has it been since you shot that path through? Oh, right, it's only been a day, which means the bamboo hasn't grown back. Despite the fact that dark clouds have started to block out the moon, you run right back to the Forest of Magic. Shortly after you enter, FlamingRok materializes next to you. In the corner of your vision a silhouette of a bird takes to the sky, leaving behind a trail of lime-green vapor.
>I...I do not accept this. I can not accept this.
>Rise again. A mere shrine maiden can't keep a god down. I don't care if the Yatagarasu completely takes over at this point. I would welcome its embrace.
>SAVE HER.
[4] Anger, determination, and heroism combine to invoke the Yatagarasu contained within your spirit. Energy gathers as you assume its form, spread your wings and swoop down to snatch Haru up with incredible speed, leaving behind a trail of lime-green nuclear steam. There are deep cuts all over her body, and you can't help but notice the needle sticking into her stomach. She looks up at you and mumbles between coughs of blood.
"S- So- Sock... Is... th- that y- you? We ne- need to g- get to t- the M- Mor- iya Sh- Shrine..."
It appears that Reimu was too busy destroying the remains of the laptop to notice what you've done. And even if she did, the chances of her finding you, let alone catching up to you, would be very slim.
>What is this, ambiguity? I demand better dream information than that!
>failing that, wake up already. If nothing else, the news should have what's going on.
[5] As if the gods read your thoughts, a bolt of lightning from above strikes the pieces of paper, burning the rest of the letters in place.
- The Moriya Shrine may lead to miracles but only a [6] can save everyone
- Yukari is against everyone so it is not advisable to seek her help
- Yuuka had been sentenced as guilty and will serve her sentence of 60 years
- Her mother is alive and hiding in Gensokyo
Another piece of paper lands down in front of your foot. Scrawled in blood is the following:
SHE IS ALMOST DEAD>"Ah, Miss Kochiya? Miss Yasaka? Miss Moriya? Whichever you are, please, I need your help..."
>Wait for the voice to reveal herself. If it's one of the three, explain the whole thing. If not, see who it is first. I'm not going to risk telling a potential enemy about what's going on.
[4] "It is I, Kanako Yasaka, Goddess of the Moriya Shrine. What is it that you need?"
You explain everything to her, starting with the incident at the village, followed by the forest confrontation. Before you mention your talk with Keine, she hurries into the shrine as lights come on. As you wait outside, you hear a screaming voice.
"SHE WHAT?!"
Sanae rushes outside with an expression of disbelief and urgency. Shortly after, Kanako and Suwako fly out to hover beside her.
"The girl. Haruko. We need to bring her here right now. She's probably in a life-threatening condition, and it might be too late already."
>A Shrine Maiden attacking innocent humans??!? CLEARLY THIS SHRINE MAIDEN NEEDS TO GET CUDDLY!
>>Fly out the window and straight to the Hakurei Shrine. Jumping out of a second story expecting to fly is clearly a masterful idea and can in no way go wrong at all.
[4] You jump out the window and take flight towards the Hakurei Shrine. There doesn't appear to be anyone there, so you hide in the bushes next to the torii.
>Well that didn't last long. Attempt to respawn either near my dead body (away from the red mushrooms) or a person stuck in the forest.
[6] You respawn in your previous body, right next to Patorikku. A silhouette of a bird takes to the sky, leaving behind a trail of lime-green vapor.
>Buy 'em.
Wait, it took me longer to buy knives than unmatched sock to follow along the story?
[3] As you count through the wad of bills, the bandages start to disintegrate into flakes. After all, they've been sitting there for decades, and they certainly can't stand too much flexing.
Money -?6000 (total ?9991000)> Pick mushrooms, acquire bio-luminescence.
[3] You eat the mushrooms in hopes that the bioluminescent spores will be absorbed into your body...
...which seems to be the case, except that you don't glow as bright as you expected. Whereas the mushrooms give off 100% of their light, you only give off 20% or so.
>Gape at the window, before collapsing on the tatami.
[6] Your jaw drops to the floor as NekoNekoRex jumps out of the window, dips towards the ground, and floats up towards the sky. After she's no more than a speck in the night sky, you fall backwards onto the tatami. A surge of pain runs through your back as everything that was once out-of-place snaps back into place, extinguishing the aches that plagued you since your revival.
