>The man pulls Luna's head against his abdomen and constricts her neck even more. Luna starts gagging and frantically kicking her feet backwards at his shins!

>Just as the man begins to slowly twist Luna's head in his arms, Luna fires bright yellow danmaku from all over her body in desperation! The bullets flicker instead of glowing with a normal healthy glow and quickly fizzle into air with raspy crackling noises after drifting no more than ten feet away from Luna, but the man has no chance of doging the bullets coming from her back. The man swears in pain and topples over on his back from his sitting posture, losing his chokehold on Luna who slumps forward to cry out and writhe in agony on the road.

>Smash!
>Then if we can, make Luna invisible.

>You carry out your threat by elbow dropping on the bag, successfully crushing its contents under your body weight! Unfortunately, you couldn't discern any satisfying sounds of property destruction over the awful rustling noise of the bag, and the bag's skin remains undamaged, preventing you from taking a peek at the waste you've laid inside. Whatever it was in this bag, it felt quite frangible, though.
>Taking advantage of the man's disorientation, you turn Luna invisible. That's probably the fanciest thing you can pull off with your power for now, you're definitely not in the best possible shape for further light trickery.
>The man is starting to get up.

>Scrabble away as much as we can. But smash any other bags we come across, because a double dog dare is a sacred vow.

>You start dragging yourself off to the side of the road, hoping to hide yourself behind a tree or under shrubs before the man in tan gets his bearings on you again. Determined to sabotage the man's possessions as much as possible on the way, you try elbow dropping on another bag that is in a wrong place at a wrong time. However, instead of crushing the contents of this bag effortlessly as well, you smash your arm against something very hard inside the bag. A wailing, agonized cry immediately bursts out from inside you and you flop over on your back. Your struck arm resonates with immense pain like a tuning fork, amplifying the horrible pain you've felt in the rest of your body for a while now.
>The man stands back up on his feet. He wastes little time trying to figure out what happened to Luna before he charges at you!
>"Where do you think you're going, you little shit!", the man yells.

>As much as there are things you would want to do right now, you can't do anything anymore but helplessly convulse and spaz in agony on your back while spitting bubbly froth from your mouth. With that mishap with the bag, your pain has finally grown unbearable for your mind...
>The man reaches you in no time and ends his charge by kicking you in the head. A hideous cracking sound echoes inside your skull. The world fades into black...

>...Huh?
>...Oh. You must've been dreaming. Thank goodness. You were at home all along, sleeping in your grand old bed with Star and Luna snuggled up against your sides. But why does it kind of feel like they're not wearing their camisoles? You think you're wearing your dress too...
>And why is it so awfully dark in here? There should be at least some moonlight coming through the window. Your head feels like it has been used as a punching bag, too, for some reason. Are your eyes even open? Uh oh, is this what it means to drink yourself blind...?

>Speak the language of the universe: Groan

>Frustrated from straining to understand what's going on right now, you groan. Your voice sounds strangely muffled to you. Suddenly, you hear the sound of a door sliding open, even though you're fairly sure your house has never had any sliding doors. Did Star make one yesterday? And how can there be any doors sliding open if all three of you are in bed?

>Try to look toward the sound.
>If it is still dark, let's create a nice burst of light!

>You look to your side in the direction of the sound, but everything's still pitch black. It feels like there's a cloth over your eyes... and your mouth. In addition, your arms are behind your back and they won't budge. You're starting to feel rather unsettled...
>You attempt to generate some lighting with your power, but fail to do so. It appears that there's no sunlight in here.
>After the opening of the door, footsteps against a wooden floor soon follow.
>"Sup, Kimura! Early as usual, eh?", you hear a deep-voiced man greet somebody.
>"Maaan, it sure is hot today.", the voice of another man says.
>"Yeah. My shirt's practically sticking to me. And all I did was just walk over here from the tenements, heh!", the man with a deep voice says.

>"Why are you in my house!"

>You try to call out the trespassers, but the words leaving your mouth are unintelligible and quiet. You think you get now what's up with all this cloth business up in your face, you've been gagged and blindfolded! You listen as the voices of the men continue to casually converse.
>"So. You boys gonna go watch that thing in the evening? The contest, yeah."
>"I guess I could...", you hear the meek voice of a third man say.
>"Mm. I'm not so hot for drums, but I'll probably pay a small visit since that one ramen stand is likely to be there."
>"Oh yeah, that's right. Well, even if you two ain't plannin' goin', I'm still gonna be there. I did help with putting up that stage quite a bit after all, heh."
>"Aw come on Miura, not this again."

>How are our arms and hands doing?

>You can't move your arms, they're tied behind your back. Your hands are bound together by the wrists, and the material of your restraints feels like some good old rope to you.

>Let's try to fumble that off.
>Failing that, let's make Luna do it.

>Hoping that your wrists have been tied up incredibly shoddily, you try brute forcing your restraints off your hands with your fairy non-strength. Try as you might, you don't feel the rope giving you any slack at all.
>How will you make Luna do this?
>"Vagabond? Sweet, now that's what I'm talkin' about! I'm gonna take a look too."
>You feel something nudge slightly against your right side, before you hear a silent groan. That sounds like Star... You think she just woke up too.

>Let's make her fix this, then. Get our wrists close to her.

>You lean against who you think is Luna and try to angle your wrists as close as possible to where you think Star's hands are right now. You feel her tiny fingertips touch your hand. Star mumbles in confusion, before mumbling something close to an understanding ooohhh. You feel Star's hand work up its way to your wrists where it starts swiftly undoing the rope. Soon enough, you think your restraints have become loose enough for you to wrestle your hands off them.
>The deep-voiced man suddenly erupts into laughter.
>"Ahaha! Koji, get over here! You gotta read this one!"

>Free hands, then uncover our face and mouth.

>Now that Star has tampered with the rope, you try forcing it off your hands again. The rope slides off your wrists effortlessly and your hands and arms are free once again. After removing the blindfold over your eyes and the gag from your mouth as well, you still can't make out a single thing in the darkness. It doesn't help much that you know that your night vision is dreadful. However, with the top of your hair brushing against a hard and flat surface above you, and with your back and shins pressed against similar surfaces on their respective sides, you can judge with your sense of touch alone that you're sitting in a place that is likely a some kind of a container large enough to fit you, Star and Luna in it.
>Star emits an impatient whine and nudges against you with her shoulder.

>Let's help out Luna.

>"But that guy kicked you in the head...", whispers Star.
>While you're untying Star's ropes, she suddenly starts trembling and giggling noisily as if you're tickling her. She's not noisy enough for her voice to not be drowned out by the men bursting in laughter again, however:
>"Pffftt, hahaha! 'I lean to the right', huh. Okay, I agree, that's a pretty good one."
>Star finally quiets up and settles down after the rope drops off her wrists.
>"That tickled, heehee...", Star whispers.
>You feel for Luna's head in the darkness and then ungag her and remove her blindfold. She seems unresponsive.
>"Is Luna all right?"
