Congrats on the clear. Yeah, Reimu's power definitely seems like it's back to more "normal" levels in this game, which is fine by me. I'm assuming the "laser + aimed" fairies section you're referring to is the one before midboss-Doremy, right? I'm curious how you manage to do it without bombing, the fairies zigzag so many times and I always end up cornering myself lol. I always found the second section of laser fairies to be much easier. Interesting that there is a safespot for Doremy's second boss spell, though I would argue it's not really needed.

Yes, I was referring to that section, I honestly don't know how to do it other than sight-dodging, I guess Reimu's homing is just really good there. Funnily enough, you can even pacify the second set of lasers, since the fairies lump together going towards you, leaving you enough room to stream slowly. I don't think the safespot would even be that useful, as you don't seem to get as much graze, I just found it by accident on Legacy where I got hit and then trying to just finish the attack off I found everything was missing me

Decided to go for a no-bombs clear in Pointdevice Mode myself and pulled it off a bit more quickly than I expected (picture attached). I ended up taking my strategy for Stage 3's second laser fairy section and modifying it for the first, though I'm already starting to forget what some parts of it looked like lol. First impressions, I actually think Reimu's homing amulets need to be more judiciously used in that section - if you keep letting the amulets kill the purple fairies close to the bottom, you're gonna wall yourself at some point. I just need to grind that section in Practice Mode down the line to get the timing of my movements down.

There. Managed a NMNB LoLK stage 1 Lunatic.

A bit about Seiran:

On her boss first non I try to go into the ball lanes as far away from Seiran as possible. Because she can fire the jellybean columns and they can actually hit you while you're in a lane, preventing escape. With Sanae's snakes you can pretty much reasonably kill it without worry if you just play it really safe. Not good for score though.

I still don't know how to consistently do the first spell. I know there's a strat that involves going to the side waves, but it still feels rather iffy for me. Will need to explore this in PointDevice mode a bit more.

On her second non you can just cheese it by staying on her healthbar and tapping.

You can also spin around her on her last spell and get lots of graze, but I prefer to dodge it at the bottom. I always seem to get rammed for not going fast enough around her or bumping into her. It seems static and it's not really hard either way.

You can get a bit farther from her (almost at the health bar) after the purple waves so she doesn't ram you, she won't fire again until she stops, so you can use that time to reposition yourself

Significant improvement. Mistakes on lots of scorey stuff. Deathbombed Wriggle's final because I got trapped by a blue ball. Lost 2000 time on Stage 1. Lack of bombs on stage 2 for Mystia's last spell and not cancelling properly oon the last enemies of the stage cost me more time points. Start of stage 3 was badly done, lost about 2000 time again. Deathbombed on stage 4 with lots of point items on screen. Died to spammy enemies near start of stage 5 (with 5 bombs on me ;-;) and deathbombed Tewi's 1st so only had 3 bombs for Reisen's final. Only mistake in stage 6 was deathbombing 2nd nonspell. Good run but still plenty of improvement. And I'm clawing my way to .ASP's Border Team score :>

But I guess the most notable achievement I've gotten recently is actually building some decent consistency at PCB. I'll probably still practice stages for a bit until I get something like 2MNB on average in each one, before attempting full LNB runs.

I beat Remi on lunatic practice mode, with 3 bombs left!
Even captured her first nonspell!
God, Remi is such a fun fight on lunatic, even if she's balls to the walls hard.

And in my run to unlock stages for practice mode, I ended up getting to Thousand Needle Mountain before hitting the gameover screen!
(And in that run I captured Sakuya's first boss nonspell :V, and Flower Illusionary Dream Vine)

... Oh, and NMNB EoSD easy. Did it on a whim, got it first try. -shrug-

EDIT: Oh, and first try perfect EoSD Stage 4 normal, ReimuA. I quite like this shot-type.

I think I used something like 5 bombs, one on Doremy's second non because I just couldn't read it. Doremy's midboss spell is also unreasonably hard. I bombed at least once in each of the stage portions. It feels satisfying to finally capture Doremy's spells though.

The next step is obviously 1cc legacy mode.

It doesn't feel as satisfactory as it should, since I broke one border at the last second of Youmu's last, and finished 0/3.
But still, I'm glad I got this down pretty quickly. Gotta go for a cleaner run some day.  :3

1 planned trance, 3 bombs (all planned, and going to be used in any sort of real run), and no deaths. Captured a bunch of spellcards too! :3
I know it just shows I know the stage very well now, but I'm verry happy with it.

PCB Stage 4 is pretty much just streaming. The Prismrivers themselves aren't very dangerous aside from Merlin's opening nonspell with Sakuya.
