Excuse me? The Late Bloomers are useful now? Did they get a buff or something?

As for the Twin Dragons, aren't they more Fire/Water subs than specifically dragon ones though? Especially considering their Leader Skill/Active Skill.

They've been useful ever since people found out how good rows are. Their awakening are pretty solid and the buff to their active was useful. Them getting ults that gave them decent stats made them decent substitutes for anyone without the corresponding Norse god.

Using Twin Dragons as leads is a thing. Not a thing I support, but people are doing it. Wangren is a decent conditional lead though.

Skilling them up is such a pain though, and their cooldown is so obnoxiously long if you don't skill them up.

I mean, sure, skilling them up is a lot easier than a lot of alternatives I'm sure but still it's 20 skillups and the only remotely available fodder are the chimeras and that's like :colonveeplusalpha:

(I would be a happy man if my Tyrannos didn't have such a long cooldown, really.)

Well, I just tried Valk Descended, I two-stoned it before giving up, partially my fault for forgetting to use menace at the beginning of the battle but it probably wouldn't have mattered anyway since unleashing everything barely took 30% of her health.

I'll try some other time, with Horus, possibly, but for now I'll stay valkyrie-less. She's just too much for me to handle ):

@Edit

On my endeavours to getting a Valkyrie next time she rolls through, I decided "Hey, I might as well make a Luci Team!"

Of course, that would require two gravities, which means, two heras, which means, Hera Descended!

But amusingly enough, I seem to have 4/5ths of a potential Hera Team just raring to go, between my Drawn Joker and a GOdin, I have a 90% reduction of Hera's attacks, so I'll need 1500 autoheal, Lucifer has an auto heal awakening and so does GOdin, which means the last one could be a Lilith (who is farmable!)  and the last two slots could very well be my Echidna (for failsafe) and the Devil Dragon I have lying around (obviously evo'd into CDD) just for stats.

Heck, it shouldn't even be too hard to beat Hera with that setup, 'course I'll need quite a bit more on that team to actually take on valkyrie (Investment into Luci, both Heras, Okuninushi and probably a 'buncle since I'll need some healing for the dual lucinuke) but it's certainly a start!

I wouldn't use a buncle. Stats are too bad. If you're going Luci for Valkyrie, I'd suggest Hera/Hera/DJ/Keeper.

So I am not liking this system where you are forced to use delay and gravs for tougher bosses. Really makes party composition a bitch and trying to stall for 30 turn cd is lol

Edit: Also what the f is up with these early supers I have some semblance of a life and need to go to class ffs gungho

Carbuncles let you Morning Star twice without giving Valkyrie a chance to do something in between. Like, uh, GET ALL HER HEALTH BACK.

I finally got my own Valk today, team was dual Lucis with Hera/Hera/Vritra/carbuncle :V

I probably could do Valk with one of my teams but I have one maxed out and another babby one, both consolation Godfest prizes, I'm just like ehhhhhh.

Running Takeminekata mythical 5 times yesterday resulted in zero Suzaku invades I didn't know the rate so bleah on that too.

It'd be much safer to just throw in another gravity though. Dual gravities + 1 Morning star is enough to kill Valk without having to deal with valkyrie blade on Legend, and gives you more stats to fend off her regular attacks.

Yeah stalling sucks. It's part of the reason you don't really see gravity anymore.

Not necessarily.

In this thread http://puzzleanddragonsforum.com/showthread.php?tid=30868 , I've been seeing that a lot of the successful 0-stone/farm teams on descends use Zeus - and his CD is even sillier! So clearly I'm doing something wrong here, and probably need to look into more survivability so I can take some of these jerks out.

@Matsy - Some people also splash Fagan/Kirin as subs for Lei too, apparently :V

zeus is pretty easy to stall with though since any small hit reduces his attack to x1 and if you're fighting something that attacks every turn you won't ever leave x1 attack until you pop echidna

Well I mean they use Zeus as a sub for grav. Usually the FL is another Leilan or Bastet depending.

She can use it up to thrice.  Uses it every three turns, with higher priority than her other moves.  So sayeth PDX.

from what I heard, the invade rate for Mythicals is about 15%.  Good freaking luck with that one.

Apparently the GOdin Uvo is already out on NA? I checked their Facebook and it said nothing of this, did I miss something?

And the Meimei/Athena/Izanagi/Baal/Mystic Dragon uvos too.

@Edit

Checking the European facebook page, it seems like they got all of that stuff announced along with the Zaerog buffs at the same time they announced the Fagan Uvos, why the fuck did NA announce the Fagan Uvos but not the rest is beyond me.

I suspect GungHo can calculate how much $ each monster makes them, Valk and Echidna probably have negative income.

New Ult Evos. It's funny that I'm always psyched about updates, even though I don't actually benefit from most of them until I hit rank 100 or get some good monsters.

So how does 2x drop rates work exactly? I'm up to like nine Dub-Mythlits in a row on Shrine Of Spirits, and incidentally every time I've ever run it has been 2x drops. Are these things related? I need Dub-Topalits!

Also, is there a reason Amethyst Pengdra's evolution requirements are much more expensive and Topaz Pengradra is much cheaper than all of the others? I feel like a chump for wasting stamina on Metal Dragon Alert now.

Edit: Woo, got one on my fourth(?) try of the day. Cute Glasses Angel get. And I incidentally got exactly what I needed to do Siren as well as soon as I have enough points to put her ultivo on my team.
