Their evolved versions are gold, the unevolved versions are silver.

Also, I have reached the Ocean of Heaven!

Which means that my monored has hit a brick wall.

No way in hell I can deal 253k damage in a single hit to one-shot Neptune, but at least I should be able to do the other stages relatively easily.

Also got my Gigas to level 79 thanks to Rouge, which means that before applying helper, I now have almost 14k HP.

Would evolving my Neptune to W/L be worth it just so I can deal with OoH safely?

As someone who recently got into the mainstream habit of farming it for plus eggs, I'm just going to say watch out for that double buncle wave. It gives me a hell of a lot more trouble than Neptune himself at this point.

I haven't tried a poison strat, but I actually took the time to make my dark golem Mk3 and about lv40 before I tried. - 75%def seems to be more than enough for me to punch through him (unsure about monored, I also run 12.25x or higher multipliers), but if you can hit over 24k def this might be a viable option, and because golems are really beefy it might help you with the double buncles. Though Shiva adds fire multiplier and solves the problem of needing to cut defense, and there's quite a few people here who do have him *coughchaorecough*

I'm rank 55, and on Tomb Of The Saint-Deep. Are the ogres supposed to be able to one-shot me? They definitely can, even if I bring a buff friend along for more HP. Which wouldn't be a big problem, except that four out of five times that I run a level I randomly hit a double-green ogre floor at some point. Not really sure what I'm supposed to be doing here.
I made a PADHerder. It's probably out of date though.

What's your HP total at anyways, not including a friend's leader?

Green Ogres there hit for ~6400 every four turns and have ~29000 HP. While it's regarded as completely useless as a leader, I have something with a universal 2x attack leader and a 25,000 damage nuke on a four turn cooldown.

Spoiler:
I will have to explain to everyone else why I'm using Caol-Ila as a leader though.

What I personally did was to take some days weeks off farming Fire Forest Nerva (Since I run a monored, which dungeon you run is up to your team) to beef them up, this also got me a good few ranks.

5038, although hopefully tonight/tomorrow morning I can ultimate evolve Valkrie in which case I'm changing it up a little to a team with a little more. If I can get another gold king dragon from somewhere it'll be quite a lot more.

I swear I died from over 7000 health earlier in a hit from one of them, but I must've either been not full or something else hit with it that I didn't realize. How much variability is there in "~6400"? Regardless, knowing roughly the amount makes planning easier.

Monsters always deal the exact same amount of damage, unless you count things that reduce damage, like Awakenings and Skills/Leader Skills, of course.

Ogres in the Tomb of the Saint-Deep deal 6250 (red), 6361 (blue) and 6458 (green) damage per hit.

Bastards! So the ones I can't burst down if they appear in pairs are also the ones who do the most damage. In fact, I would have lived if any of the others hit me on one of my runs earlier, since I only died by like 50 damage. I'll just have to go back later with super-Valkyrie and the added damage should be enough to finish off both green ones before they hit me given normal combos.

Does having a subattribute mean you count as that color? My roommate runs Archangel Raphael, so if Valkyrie becomes white when I evolve her I can use that a lot to massively pad my HP.

Yes it does, as fas as leader skills goes, it affects any monster that has a specific color as either their main or sub element.

Example, my Tyrannos (x2 ATK and RCV for fire type) would not affect Siegfried because he's a water monster, unless I uvo'd him to his non-golden keeper form, at which point, he gets a fire sub element, so my Tyrannos would now affect him.

Commandercool, some reading for you:

Kushi = Kushinadahime:  Wood element, active reduces damage by 75% for one turn.  Leader deals increasing damage as combo count rises.  1.5x at 3 combo, +0.5x per combo up to 10x damage.

I&I = Idunn & Idunna:  Water element.  Active enhances water orbs.  Leader skill inceases Water (and Balanced, when evo'd to their Water/Water ult form) Atk and Rcv to 2x.  They have an alternate ult evo in Japan that'll be here hopefully before people die of old age which gives Healers(notably dropping Water support) HPx1.35, Atkx3.

Fire!Valk = Burning Maiden, Princess Valkyrie.  Active is Attack Stance Fire, leader is the same as other Valkyries.

Okay, good. So what will these characters be doing? Will they have dungeons or something, or just increased drop rates?

Also, am I reading correctly that ninjas have an increased drop rate starting tomorrow? If so, is Hatsume No Tsubome as good for me as I think she is? Seems like a blue healer with an orb change ability is great for blue Valkyrie. I might have to do a lot of egg machine pulls next week fishing for her unless there's some reason she won't work as well as I think she will.

I was wrong about the Valk in the Fest, btw, it's the Dark one, Blazing Maiden, that's gonna be involved, so you know.

The monsters will be in the REM, but at 3x rates just like during Godfests.

UNLIKE Godfests, though, the Special Gods and such will not be obtainable, as a side note.

Valkyrie posts a picture of her expensive meal to Tumblr.

Mmmm, tasty. Valkyrie still hungers, but maybe not quite as badly after that.

Took five tries to get the Dub-Saphilit to drop, and I got four Dub-Mythlits in the process. So those are just sitting in my box being cool now I guess.

Believe me that later on you'll be craving these Dubmythlits, especially when the only source of them outside of Friday Dungeon is Starlight Sanctuary and... I don't even know if Hill of Iris's Rainbow actually drops Dubmyths, to be honest, but even in the case it does, they are literally the final Normal/Technical dungeons (respectively) before the "special" ones (Conditional Dungeons for the Technical ones and "Legendaries" for Normal Dungeons).

Speaking of Dubmyths, I ran Shrine of the Spirits twice today, I dropped three dubmyths, I didn't even need them.

I know I will eventually though.

Eventually.

I think I have my team for the immediate future figured out. Ideally, I want to use this:

Valkyrie (Have already)
King Shynee (Need a King Gold Dragon to make)
Angel (Have already)
Mermaid/Siren (Need)
Machine Golem (Need, but might substitute Dark Golem until I get one)

Does that look any good? Obviously I don't have a ton of control over stuff I don't own, but is there anything that I should be looking out for to replace something?

Also, do we have any idea when King Gold Dragons will be available next? I stupidly fed mine because I thought Big Shynee needed a Super King to evolve, and he seems like he would be a huge help to my team right now.

Also also, do multipliers stack additively or multiplicatively? I seem to be hearing conflicting information on this. If I bring another Valkyrie into a dungeon will my healers get x6 or x9 attack? And if I activate King Shynee does that become x9 or x27? I suppose it ultimately doesn't matter that much since it won't effect my team composition one way or another, but it would be useful for deciding when to use Raphael as my assist and when to use another Valkyrie.
I made a PADHerder. It's probably out of date though.

x9 and x27 respectively.

And that looks pretty much like my team, except I've got Echidna and L/L Venus instead of Archangel and Machine Golem. Should be fine, though healer teams aren't known for being tanky.

Goddamn. That makes ever bothering to run anything but a Valkyrie in my assist slot a lot less appealing.

I'm not really shooting for "tanky" exactly, I just need a buffer so that half the game can't kill me in one hit. Seems like I lose half of the random dungeons I run because either the boss can one-shot me or I get unlucky with two bulky, high-damage enemies syncing and resisting my hits. I feel like I need enough HP to be able to abuse my huge recovery, which doesn't do anything if I die in one hit. But I guess Echidna basically fills that role by giving me a few more turns of huge burst damage, which should have the same result. She goes on the team for sure once I get her, at least against some dungeons.

I don't really recommend using king slimes until you have the stats to accommodate it.  You should probably just farm for an Echidna and get some ranks while you're at it.
