A lot of that was due to also having dinner and going back and forth between that and watching the 300 sequel, but yeah.  At least it's over with.  I'll wait til I can spike the place into dust before playing it again; it was hideously dull with how long it took.

Had I been focusing only on it, it would probably have been about two or two-and-a-half though total.

The skill up rate for porings I got from stoning from stamina seems to be much less than those I didn't stone for.  By which I mean 0% as opposed to 10%

A new day, so I have new questions.

-What is Eco Collab, and do I care? It seems like I don't, just wanted to make sure.

-Did anyone else not get their log-in bonus today? My game said I did, but I certainly didn't get the Pal Points since I had zero machine pulls before and zero after, but was supposed to get 200 points.

-At what point can I expect to plausibly be able to mega evolve ultimate evo Valkyrie? It seems pretty clear that Mystic Masks, Keepers Of The Rainbow, and Dublits will be hard to get, but how hard?

-I really want a Mermaid/Siren and a Hatsume No Tsunobe. It seems to me like the best way to get them would be to wait for a water gala and use all of my stones then, but people keep saying galas are useless. If that is the case, then what's my best bet for getting these two?

Edit: Oh yeah, one more thing: Is it worth spending all of my stones today fishing for Isis from the godfest? She's the only thing I even kind of want, and she still doesn't seem that great for my team right now.

ECO collab has monsters that skill up the following: Drall, Loki, Parvati, Lakshmi and more importantly CHANGE THE WORLD.

I didn't notice the PAL points, actually. I have 20 rolls so that's probably the reason why.

Right now I think you can actually do those dungeons. Wednesday and Friday dungeons can easily be done with a zombie team (a team where you run a perseverance leader and an autohealer friend and you never die unless you make a mistake). Tuesday dungeon can be done with Green odin and a heartmaker like big bubblie or a marine goblin.

Don't ever roll in galas. Waste of stones and 90% of the time you're going to get really useless shit. Save those for the godfest instead.

If you really want a Mermaid either you get one from the PEM or wait for a special dungeon that drops her. I got mine from Aldebaran's dungeon way back when.

Loki

pfft yeah right that thing never shows up ;_;

Also, hera-sowilo get.  Probably my favorite Hera design.  Her dungeon's not too bad so I might try skilling her up eventually.

TBH, if you want to skill up loki, there's a much much easier alternative than running eco collab and praying for an invade.

That said, Alma is really cute.

I did eventually get my pal points for the login bonus, just super late. And I got another King Sapphire Dragon with them, which was good because, you know, Valkyrie hungers.

So walk me through how to get my evo materials. I need Keeper Of The Rainbow, Mystic Mask, Dub-Sapphilit, and Dub-Topalit.

I know my best shot at Keeper Of The Rainbow is Tuesday dungeon. Will a zombie team work with that? Seems like it should, since if I recall the Keepers can only make one attack at a time.

Mystic Mask is the Wednesday dungeon, and I know the zombie strategy works for that.

The Dub-Lits are Friday dungeon, and I might be able to just brute force through that, especially with HP Dog around in case I fuck up.

So how low are the drop rates for all of these? How many times should I expect to have to run each dungeon to get them? A lot, I assume?
I made a PADHerder. It's probably out of date though.

KoR is 40% drop normally, so 80% right now. Mystic Masks and Dub-mythlits aren't quite as likely since there are always two other monsters that spawn with them in the final wave, unless you're lucky enough to get an invade.

As for the zombie strategy for KoR, keep in mind that the first three waves will be made of monsters with two-turn attack timers, and there *will* be multiple. As long as you can focus on synced stuff, though, you should be okay. Also, unless you have some strong active skills to use, expect the keeper itself to take a while to bring down, since it has 900k HP.

« Reply #311 on: June 30, 2014, 03:47:29 PM »
It's not about the keepers actually. It's about the waves before them. You can't reliably do zombie with rainbow keeper because there's so many mons to fight that have synced attacks so yeah.

Since they're double rates right now RK has a chance to drop. Since Mystic mask and Dub-mythlit spawn with two other mons you need to pray to the rng gods that gungho gives it to you. Otherwise it's just grinding until you get them.

EDIT: basically what rdj said.

Zombie teams are the way to go for Wednesday/Friday dungeons, as far as Tuesday Dungeon goes (Which, by the way, is literally the only source of the Keeper of the Rainbow until you're like rank 200 to do Paradise of Holy Beasts and even then it's infinitely more reliable) the "cheese" setup is to just use a fully awoken GOdin friend and maybe an autohealer (though it's not necessary if you have a lot of RCV, which given you're running a healer team, you should), in that case, you'll be fine so long as you keep yourself at full health and have over 4400HP (which isn't hard to get).

Final Poring Tower Results: Max Skilled Highlander, Skill Level 5 Berserk, 9 Ghostrings, 21 Big Baddies and 13 Drops.

Not gonna run ECO until after the godfest just in case I end up getting a Yomi, until then I'm running Castle of Satan to try and drop a vampire.

Zombie teams are the way people used to do it, but if you can manage a 4/0/4 tank team or even a 2/4/2 team? That's way safer and a lot faster, as you don't have to worry about storing orbs and skyfalls taking them away.

Friendly reminder for anyone thinking about skilling up Venus or Yomi:  Run nothing but Heaven Sent.  It's the only guaranteed drop for ECO Tiny, and it's pretty easy for a "legendary"-rank dungeon.

I don't need any dub-mythlits right now, just the blue and white ones.

I don't know why I thought the zombie strategy would work for Tuesday, since everything has actual amounts of HP. :wat:

Okay, cool. Does anyone have a set up Odin I can use tomorrow until I get Rainbows?

I have no idea what those are, but if they involve anything you can't find laying around in dungeons then I almost certainly can't make them.

Alright, basically  4/0/4 teams are teams with 4x health and 4x RCV, lead by people with 2x health and 2x RCV. Things like your archangels, noel dragons, and fruit dragons have these.

2/4/2 teams are teams with 2x health, 4x attack, and 2x RCV, these teams are most commonly lead by Greek 2.0 gods(2x HP, 2x ATK,) and Norse Gods/Starter Dragons(2x ATK, RCV.) I just brought those up because the last influx of noel dragons was pretty recent, so there might have been a chance for you to get one.

I wouldn't stone for it.  If you can handle the weekday dungeons, odds favor you being able  take though.

Probably not so good unless you have a 4x HP 4x RCV team and can tank it out as you have to deal with all the tricks of the other evo mat dungeons mentioned above in one.

I tried once (without a stone) and got wrecked by a bunch of synced masks in the second room. Should have taken time to charge up poison. Won't waste the stone to try again if it isn't worth it then.

It's definitely not 100%, I think it's 40. So it's probably weekly rates without the 2x drop ever.

The RK at the end of the Evo mat rush is 50% drop - higher than Tuesday Dungeon but without ever getting the x2 rates.

And considering how often these come around, tuesday dungeon is still better. Evo rush is only ever useful at trying to get a shot at an evo mat you'd have to wait a few days to get, really (Like if it's friday and you really need that RK), I don't think it's ever worth stoning for.
