That's true. That's why I rather like the mono-light-ish setup I have right now:

Kirin/TAMADRApurin/Odin (who will be even better when his ult comes out)/Siegfried/Apollo/Kirin.

It doesn't seem like much, but the RCV is actually pretty good. Let me tank plenty of hits during Hera-Is dungeon, at least.

Sent a friend request; in addition to RSonia(who plays well with the Lu Bu I saw in your leader spot), I have an ult'd Alraune with an improved version of Rondo of Healing called Song of Rest, should you need it.  Let me know in-game if you need me to switch, and whenever I get the message(I work, etc.) I'll do so!

I have a 7X ult Archangel if you need (practically the same thing but light/water and a 10 turn active) also, just shoot me a request.

I feel like I must be doing something wrong with this monocolor-ish team. Every run ends with me hacking away at the boss, getting pretty close, then not having any blue orbs drop four like four rounds. Valkyrie's active ability can fix that once, but when it happens several turns in a row I just can't do anything. It takes me long enough to kill bosses that getting unlucky doesn't even seem that unlikely. Anybody got advice? What I do?

Edit: FINALLY just beat Flare Knights after at least seven or eight attempts. Been using Da Qiao And Xiao Qiao as my assist to try to get burst damage, and it kept coming down to being able to set up three of the four requires colors to get the damage bonus and having to rely on a fourth color cascading. This time it happened. That was satisfying, but it doesn't seem like a good way to play. :wat:

Try to save up orbs beforehand, either straight-up blue orbs or any orbs have control over (due to orbchanging), for example, you have a Blue Valkyrie, which means that you'll want to keep as many blue and heart orbs on the board as possible before you need to use them so you can just pop Valkyrie's active to deal Massive Damage.

In cases where you run out of the orbs you want and you don't have an orb changer ready, what you should do is match some hearts and go all out on your board, comboing as much as you can. This will maximize your chances of getting more of the orbs you want while healing yourself so it's not a wasted turn.

I suggest doing endless corridors for a while to practice your combo skills.

Maybe this is the part I'm doing wrong. Unless something goes wrong I go into the boss with a bunch of blue orbs on the board, but am I supposed to use them all right away and try to burst down the boss, or use three a turn and do consistent damage? I've been trying to go for the burst, but it doesn't usually bring the boss/es anywhere near low enough for me to win before I run out of steam or get boned by bad rolls.

Right, that's always the plan, and sometimes it works. But if I do it enough times it will eventually not work, and I usually have to do it a lot of times over the course of a boss fight at this point. Is my damage output just way, way lower than it's supposed to be at this point in the game or something? Maybe I should work on putting together that King Shynee right away after all.

But yeah, practicing in Endless Corridors is a good idea. Playing this way does seem to be a little tricky and I don't have the technique yet. That probably would help.

If you're running leader valk, are you running a friend's valk at the same time? That will make your output higher than pretty much anything you are facing right now.

GEEZ, Sonia.  King Baddie, too.

Just nuked Neptune(OoH) into the floor.  It was pretty fun.  I got worried when all my wood orbs went away durong the floor before and none dropped during the fight.  Hadn't remembered that I'd hit WELL over 192k fire damage so I was unsure...then I saw like 300something thousand per Sonia.

So yeah, Ocean of Heaven all clear, ready for whatever the next one is!

Hahaha, would that I could play him/her well enough yet.  also I don't have king Flamie yet since I have been putting so much into the Sonia team...I WILL eventually work on DMeta though since I'd been fortunate enough to pull her and such, just not yet.  I might jumpstart it though if I pull a Hanzo or something eventually.

Yeah, one of my buddies with a Valkyrie was just online in the right window for the first time today. It was hilarious. That definitely fixes my damage problems whenever it comes up, but it just compounds the "if I get bad luck I insta-die" problem by being kind of fragile. Still, that's going to be a big thing.

Contrast with physicals like TAMADRApurin who have incredible HP (my Purin has >5000  HP!) but pitiful recovery, usually. They also tend to have middling attack but TAMADRApurin's multiplier is incredible.

So, apparently Noah's gonna be a beefy leader for God teams, assuming she's used that way.  (I don't REMEMBER seeing someone post this, but I could be wrong.)

LS is 2.5x HP and 1.5x Atk for Gods
Active is 200x Attack water elemennt damage, pretty sure applying defense like most of those nukes do, HP-to-1.

I believe she's God/Physical, with ~6000 HP, 915(So her nuke is worth about 180-190k damage) Atk, and zero RCV at max level.

Her restriction for her dungeon appears to be the same as the samurai dragons(Must have all five attributes represennted in your team).

All of this info is from links found in the Upcoming Monsters/Mechanics topic on the PAD forum and discussion thereof, though I might have missed something or misread, so someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah that's about right, PDX has that too.

My first response is she's aggressively mediocre besides a really huge HP stat. But I think the leaderskill could make her really good.

God is an EXTREMELY BROAD requirement, containing most of the best monsters. It can fix her RCV issues (Low RCV leaderskill, no rcv base) and give her a lot of powerful skills to make up for her agressively mediocre active (it's worse than most others of this type by far, even scaling off atk).

She could be a lucifer with more HP and better sub pool. I'm still wary because I think she'll really lack in how stacked this metagame is against stall. And having a bad rcv boost will absolutely kill her. Gabriel or Raphael paired with her will help, but I'm wary.

Amusingly, if Blucifer had a better leaderskill in having his pool expanded to include water types (Instead of the aggressively mediocre attack boost), She'd be outright terrifying tbh.

Well, I did Heroes Descended, didn't manage to stall on either the masks nor the devils because of skyfalls, had to burn my ecchi on the Vampires and just BARELY got enough healing off to survive one of Berserk's hits, and only because of Horus's defense awakening.

I still had to one-stone it, but hell, one-stonning my first descended on my first try is fine by me! Dropped the Highlander (That I essentially just bursted down immediately because LOLWOODELEMENT) and completely forgot that x2 skill up chance wasn't up yet, so I used 5 poporings on him, fortunately got 3 skillups out of that.

Berserk proved to be an absolute bitch to take down though, I'll wait until either my second-strongest Ares friend (or triangles) comes up in the list again so I can try to drop berserk.

Yeah getting 3 skillups on a x2 chance is luck as it is, let alone doing it without :p

It's a 10% base chance, right? Which means there's only a 0,1% of you getting 3 skillups without x2 skillup chance.

Talk about lucky :V

@Edit

Huh, looks like x2 chance is already up, my mistake.

Still, fed my remaining 3 poporings - 8 Poporings and 4 skill ups so far.

Out of 6 necessary, that's awesome. Though I wonder how many I'll get through my Berserk because I have 10 Marins on my box.

@Edit?

TRY NUMBER TWO! *Dies on floor one because all five demons are 1-turn synced and I only have 2 red orbs, even after clearing 7 hearts after the first volley.*
