>"You know me well enough to surprise me."
>Remove footwear, and stretch out on the couch.
>"Heheh. I think I can pull that off." Poking her head back outside again, you hear her say, "There still a couple bottles of that Yukishirou mead knocking around?"
>"I think so, yes."
>"Swell. Send a bottle of that up, if you'd be
so kind." your counterpart says with a flourish as you have a good stretch out. Her placing her order grants you a moment to further examine some of the fixtures in this room, starting with the artwork. Three framed images hang upon the wall, but the one that catches your eye straight off is the smallest of the three. It is a full body shot of Aya. At first glance, it didn't seem like anything special, since she is wearing her normal outfit, doesn't seem to be carrying anything out of the ordinary or posing extravagantly, simply standing in an open field smiling for the camera. But there's something a little different about the Aya you see pictured. It's her smile, you hit on after a moment's thought. There's a sense of what you'd call freedom in that smile, an ease of expression. It's the smile of a woman who's free of what had been burdening her, of one who can enjoy her life for the first time in a very long time, maybe even ever.
>"I've always liked that one myself." your twin remarks as she plops herself down in a chair to your northeast. "I actually think it's one my best."
