Because I definitely needed another soul-crushingly addictive mobile game to play.

This one is like puzzle & dragons except it's a rhythm game instead of a puzzle game.  It also seems to have a story mode.

I don't think there's a surefire method to trick apps into thinking you are not rooted, but a quick google does give some options which you may wish to try out.

Well, it opens with rootcloak but it freezes at a static orange screen.

"uninstall Superuser and install SuperSU instead, then disable root access"

Got it on my I pad instead. The skills keep poping up and obstructing half the screen, anyway to prevent that?

"uninstall Superuser and install SuperSU instead, then disable root access"

I have SuperSU. I am assuming disabling root access is unchecking 'enable Superuser'? Because that did not work

"For those still having issues getting passed the root check (like I was) when you were disabling it from SuperSU, I have a suggestion, download Cydia Substrate (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.saurik.substrate) and RootCloak Plus (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devadvance.rootcloakplus), and add the app to the list of blocking for root. Works like a charm."

Since it's a rhythm game, I'm allowing myself to pass this one over for now. I still have to remind myself to play PnD once a day and I often just don't.

One tip for getting a higher score: once you have some spare girls, use the Auto Formation button to create three teams, one for each color, and perform the songs with the matching color. I think early on this will give higher returns than feeding them to each other.

Can you ask them what to do when you have both installed, Love Live added to the RootCloak list, but Substrate refuses to become active? I've done the soft restart and everything and still no luck. Man, companies sure do hate fun don't they :[
