Well, I downloaded the Trial Version of SoEW, on the old official page of Amusement Makers, it was a .HED Files, I can't open it in the emulators (Anex86 and T98-Next) Any Help? ??? |
| Agent of the BSoD:
Uh, not sure what you downloaded then. There are no HED files there that I know of. As for the trials listed there, they won't run by themselves, you need to make a disk image of them for them to work, which is a somewhat tedious process. I've taken the liberty of doing this already almost a year back, so I might as well link downloads of them here. (they are fresh copies of the demos so no high scores are saved) http://www.mediafire.com/download/a3wd0y3ibbq9g43/Touhou_PC-98_Demos_Fresh.rar |

To be more specific, It was a .lzh file, to unzip the file there was a .HED file, I'm sure that is was the ROM 1. I downloaded here http://www.kt.rim.or.jp/~aotaka/am/huma_ts2.lzh 2.-The Internal file Name was HUUMA_TES2.HED (or at least that I remember) |

Ah, I see what you're saying now. You've got this a little mixed up. The HED file is only one part of the game files; that's not the game itself. There are many different files inside that lzh and they all go into the HDI image, which I compiled in my earlier post. What's linked above is indeed what you're trying to get running. I hope that makes more sense. |

I know this is a very late addition to this post, but for any further reference, the .HED file can be opened in Notepad |
