huh yeah that figures then

that's better then- they're built in heartmaker leads! you can slot luci in as a sub and then realize you wasted time even making such a bad stall team B)

okay i kid they're more easily accessible non-light stall leaders than snowglobes, if they get here they might be a good excuse for feeding those!

I'll be honest, at least I can use most of the 3* things to skill stuff up. 4*, not so much. Mythical beasts are kinda rare though. I only got one in 40 pulls, and I was one of the lucky ones.

They reduced the chance of 3-star monsters to drop and just increased the chances of their evolution dropping instead <_<

At least 4* includes Valkyrie and the other heartbreakers. And when you feed them for xp, it'll be slightly more.  Small victories man.

You

Kirin, Valk, Verche, Ecchi, Hera-Is

How'd you know? I don't think I posted my PAD herder there. I really want Light Izanami for my Kirin team though. Can't be bothered to skill up Hera-Is.

I thought you just looked at who I use as a leader. I used them all except for Verche at one point or another. I just look at friends list and choose a farming team based on whatever's available.

Usually, it's something like
Ares/Ame no Uzume = Tyrannos
Hermes/BOdin = I&I
Egyptians = Kirin
Byakkou = Hera-Ur
Luci/other dark leads = Hera-Is
Valkyie/Bastest/Suzaku = Valkyrie
Thursday/Conditionals/farming for lits = Joker/Echidna

I still dont even know what these hero gods are, or sonia gods or wtf it was, or jujube dragons.
Don't know who Sonias are. Hero gods are random heroes(idk why their gods, you'd think they'd get the ninja treatment. Fruit dragons are dragons with a ton of awakenings.

also Sonia are the new Odin/Metatron. They are all dragon/hybrids and their active ability is like the Chinese girls but for only two elements. Which is pretty OP when combined with the Heroic Gods. Their leader skill is 2.5 ATK/RCV for their type which is kinda meh.

The Heroic Gods are leaders with their damage multiplier tied to the max number of connected orbs you matched rather than combo number or elements. All of them deal 2.5x damage for 5 connected orbs of their own type up to 4x damage for 8 orbs. For example with Pandora if you match a cluster of 7 dark orbs then all your damage that turn gets a x3.5 multiplier.

Anyone know if Sonias from a mythology. Some people are saying Gungho made them up, but they stick out like a sore thumb when compared to everything else in the game.

except for Suikama

Oh holy --- the tri-fruits can skill up Sonias!

Oh er, not mystic, mythic.  My bad.  The stone dragon technicals before china-ville.

I have to stall in rounds 1/2, but doing so is hard when the enemies hit like a truck and otherwise have low HP.  If I don't stall long enough for Echidna, the carbuncles in round 3 oneshot me.  And on top of all that, I seem to be cursed to always get the worst orb drops possible in these dungeons.

« Reply #295 on: January 09, 2014, 08:33:52 PM »
oh yeah those dungeons are ridiculous

you basically have to either have a good way of stalling on dragons (high RCV, no accidentally killing them) or have a whole bunch of skill boosts for Echidna. But then you have an Echidna that's completely useless on the boss

on the other hand Luci handles this dungeon just fine I think

I'm... not actually sure what to use tamadras on now that pretty much the main use for them is just damage enhance and skill boost. I've already awoken Isis and other than that none of my subs really care :derp:

Once I get 4 tamadra though i'm totally making this team

HEY CHAORE

REMEMBER WHEN YOU SAID YOU DIDNT THINK THE HEROIC GODS WERE ANY GOOD

WELL IS 0-STONING KORYU GOOD ENOUGH FOR YA

I think I said I had a negative expectation of them but was mostly still out on them actually :v But...

Nope.

Japanese videos are cherry-picked best ones which show what teams are capable of in the right hands. If you asked me 'Can the heroic gods do burst?' I'd say hell yeah because hell yeah they've got great numbers on them. this is like me showing you the video of Luci 0-stoning Twinlits and being smug as shit actually (Though I love that video because it really does show what luci is capable of still despite gungho's shitting on him).

like holy shit it did so much damage it broke through Genbu's 600000 defense without using weaknesses...

It was a very nice combo and a lot of orbs. When you get like 20k damage normally a lot of damage happens- and i was mostly looking at the plus'd up hero gods that did that.

also clearing athena... using only two subs rofl

Athena's a really easy stage honestly if you have monster's like that. The main problem is the gigas depriving you of time for skills which shots down some teams (Luci ;W;)

okay after watching that i think i need to change my tier list a bit:

GOD TIER
Damage Enhance

okay tier
Skill Boost
Bind Resist

Bottom tier
Everything Else

Eh. Damage seemed to come a lot more from the single color and high combo/high stats of a few mons actually.

this is really a huge benefit to non-egyptian burst that they can build numbers much easier because they don't need to spread the orbs out to create a combo. I definitely underestimated Heroic gods there a bit, and most other burst.

I don't know, I was still out on them before but I'm not sure quite yet. They're certainly looking a lot better than I expected though.
