Reimu Quest (Part 6)

>Take some time to spruce up in the mirror while waiting on Tenshi to show up.

> You look into the mirror and make yourself as presentable as possible.



> You look terrible.  You're still damp from swimming around the Sanzu, and your hands are still injured.  As you fix the ribbon on your shirt, you hear distant voices echoing from upstairs.

> You retie your ribbon, and head for the stairs.  You run into Iku and Tenshi as you're rounding the stairs and headed for the next flight, just as they're coming down from it.  Tenshi, all dressed in white, has a severe case of bedhead and looks disgruntled.  Iku is rubbing the bridge of her nose.

> Tenshi nods and grumbles, "You'd better not touch the sword while it's out."

>Look to Iku. "Got someplace private we can go?"

> Tenshi scowls at you.
> "Outside would be best.  No one's out, and if Tenshi uses the sword in here she'll break something," Iku says.

>Once we're underway, look to Tenshi, "And what did she tell you about what you're getting out of the deal?"

> The three of you proceed down the staircase and towards the front door.  As you're walking out of the mansion, you talk to Tenshi for a bit.
> "She said I c-c-cooould..."  Tenshi fails to stifle a yawn.  "...I could have a sleepover with Suika.  And that she'd make hot cakes for me in the morning."

>Sorry Suika, you'll have to take one for the team.
>"Don't give her too hard of a time, now."

> "What are you, Iku?" Tenshi asks.  "And I won't."
> Speaking of Iku, she's opening the front doors right now.  Moonlight pours into the front hall, causing Tenshi to scrunch her face in discomfort and cover her eyes.

> You leave the mansion and step out into the plains.  If it weren't for the moonlight, you'd probably be in total darkness right now.  Tenshi, on the other hand, looks less than pleased with the fact that there's light outside.  She shields her face with her arm and holds her hand up.  The air distorts around her, and the Sword of Hisou appears in her hand.  She clutches the handle tightly and lowers her arm.

>"So, how does this work?"

>"So, how does this work?"

> "Geez, don't you remember anything from the incident I caused?" Tenshi asks.  "I'm gonna use the sword to turn your soul into weather."

>"I was hoping there was a more subtle way to do this. Anyways, you can stop it, right? In case things go wrong?"

> "Of course I can," Tenshi says with a frown.

> "Well, good, otherwise you're going to have to deal with Typhoon Reimu."
> We're at least a category 4.

> "Well, good, otherwise you're going to have to deal with Typhoon Reimu."

> "Whatever.  Stand back, Iku."
> Iku steps away from Tenshi, who holds the sword above her head.  Her hair and skirt float as if she's underwater.  She takes a deep breath.  When she exhales, you feel a draft of cool wind wash over you.

> You almost forget to breathe in anticipation.  Tenshi lowers the sword and waves it back and forth, as if it were a mere fan.  You feel something pull at you and see a scarlet mist gathering around you, with little red droplets clinging to your eyelashes.  Tenshi brings the sword back, drawing the mist towards her.
> "Ok, get ready!" Tenshi calls to you.

> You mentally brace yourself, and see the scarlet mist coalescing into a wispy, dark red mass.  And then, as quickly as it forms, it scatters.  A sudden blast of frigid air nearly knocks you off your feet.  You hear Tenshi shrieking as a the grass is flecked with bits of white fluff.  It's in the air, too.  It's everywhere.  You feel a chill go down your spine, and it's so cold you feel like you can't move.  The flurry of snow engulfs you in a wave of white, and you can't see anything.
> "Blizzard?!  Why?!"

[Sect]

> "Typhoon Reimu! Told you! What did you screw up?!"

[日巫子]

> "Typhoon Reimu! Told you! What did you screw up?!"

> Oh, you got her good.
> "I didn't do aaaanything wrong!" you hear Tenshi shout at you.

[Sect]

> Is now a good time to tell her to cut it out?

[Hello Purvis]

>"Okay, cut it off!"

[日巫子]

>"Okay, cut it off!"

> You shout at Tenshi to stop.  The blizzard stops instantly.  The only sign that it happened in the first place is the snow still dotting the ground.  Tenshi has the sword buried in the ground, and is leaning on it to support herself.  Once she has regained her bearings, she stands up and unsummons the sword.
> Iku, having escaped the worst of the sudden snowstorm, stands further back and looks shocked.

>"Okay, so, that was something. I think I'm going to need you guys to interpret those results for me."
