> You and Koishi follow Patchouli past the bookshelves, and to the other side of the library where the basement is.  She takes you through the basement door and down the hall, down to where Flandre's room is.  The door is closed, but Patchouli reaches into her robes and extracts a golden key.

> You patiently wait for Patchouli to open the door.  Once it's open a bit, she pokes her head inside the room.
> "Little mistress, there's someone here to see you," she says.  She opens the door a little bit and gestures for the two of you to head inside.

> You walk Koishi into the room.  Flandre is sitting on the floor with a small dollhouse, carefully coloring the roof with a pack of crayons.  She looks up when the two of you enter.  Her gaze lingers on you for mere seconds, before traveling to Koishi.  Both stare at each other.
> "Huh?  Who're you?" Flandre asks.
> "Who are you?" Koishi asks back.

> You introduce the girls to each other.  Koishi sets her jar of snow on the tea table.
> "Okaaaay," she says, and walks over to where Flandre is sitting.  She crouches down on the other side of the dollhouse and stares at it.
> "Don't touch the roof," Flandre says.
> "Okayy," Koishi says again.  She seems content with just sitting and watching for now.

   > You've brought Koishi to the Scarlet Devil Mansion, and have successfully introduced her to Flandre.  Hopefully they'll get along!
> You leave the basement, close the door, and return to the library.  You find Patchouli in her usual spot, at her desk by the door.
> "Well?" she asks, looking up from a roll of parchment.

> "...The aura you're giving off feels fragmented," Patchouli says.  Her tone is grave.

> "I might be jumping the gun here, but..."  Patchouli sets down the parchment.  "Hold on a minute."
> She takes a packet of chalk out of her pocket, and a heavy tome off the table.  The book levitates on its own thanks to a quickly-drawn magic circle, leaving Patchouli's hands free as she hovers out of her chair and in front of the desk.  She gets on the ground and starts drawing on the stone with chalk.  It becomes apparent she's making a magic circle.

> "Be quiet," Patchouli says.

> Patchouli covers her mouth and nose with her sleeve as she draws with the chalk, eventually finishing a complex-looking magic circle.  She steps back.
> "Stand on this," she says.
