What the fuck blizzard.

(every single one of these were summoned FROM HIS HAND, no steals, no faceless manips, nothing, just straight up has 6 molten giants in his deck)

He played 4 of them on me before I destroyed him with my superior Wallet Warrior board

Also, Grim Patron deck is the greatest thing to ever happen. Now with Axe Flinger + Bouncing Blade combo for 10 damage to face

Curious, what is your guys' favourite decks?

Albeit not the most competitive, favourite for me is definitely Secrets Mage.

The amount of unstable portals that I've gotten, followed by duplicate fun and echo of medivhs has been absolutely stupid.

Have you ever gotten 5 Ragnaros' in a game? Well yeah I did that (Unstable 1, Duplicate 2, echo 1, I have one in deck). Speaking of unstable I have some really retarded luck with it.

Second one is definitely as I like to call it, "Bullshit Shaman", better labeled as 11/11 with rice. The amount of times I've seen the board drastically change over 1 turn with a Baron + Reincarnate is pretty hilarious.

I want to unlock all of the solo adventure wings before spending gold on packs, so my decks are all very, very basic, but I think I would love to play Miracle Rogue.

So that you can beat the adventures with just basic cards? I am not sure why you would want to commit to this self-imposed challenge, but if you do, I don't think there is anything stopping you from building a basic-only-deck even if you have other cards. If you buy adventures with gold only, depending on how much you play you need about 2~1 week to unlock a wing, assuming you don't buy anything else. So I'd advise to at least get a pack or two every once in a while. You'll get some fresh cards in those 2 week waiting periods and will be able to make interesting decks more quickly than by just buying adventure stuff.

So... Executus. Is he just kinda meh, really bad, or does he simply need an iceblock (which I don't have) in order to be played properly? I expected him to be bad (at least without ice block support), and in trying him out so far... well. When I got him and won, it was because he was just a big dude. Any big dude would have done in that situation. But there were plenty of times where I couldn't afford to play him since I had to play other things to prevent me from completely losing board (or my life), or where I would have to fear getting killed by suddenly getting my life lowered to 8 (which, indeed, has killed me once so far). So yeah. Is he better if you have access to iceblock (or are a control warrior with loads of armor stacked up, perhaps), or is he bad even then?

I actually only want to get the first wing because the Emperor is just really strong and makes Druid insane. Gotta save up gold.

For the record I've only spent money on Naxx and around 20-30 packs or so. Everything else has been a pretty hard grind, I got a majority of the "important" legendaries, and have most of the important class epics.

Nah, it's more like I'm a really solo player, so sometimes I just randomly go online just to pick on bosses and stuff, more wings = more enemies for me to choose from the list of "who to punch in the face today".

It's more my thing, really, nothing even remotely related to "efficiency" or "self-imposed challenge".

Grim Patron is fun and dumb.

It also is one of those neutral cards that is basically a Warrior Class Card because no other class even comes close to Warrior's use with it.

Priest (me) vs Warlock

- Suicides his Voidcaller into my stuff. Spawns Mal'ganis.
- Nope. Shadow Word DEEESSSSS.
- Clears my board, then Bane of Dooms his own minion. Spawns Mal'ganis.
- LOLNOPE Mind Control.
- Warlock concedes.

Priest decks - dealing with Legendaries you don't have since 2014.

Me [Funky Patron Miracle Warrior with tons of carddraw mechanics and extra armor. Like Control Warrior but more aggressive and less legends.] vs Hunter [Not quite face Hunter but very similar; he had the imagination to run Gah'Zilla]

Hunter is on 14 HP

His board: Huffer

My Board: Rag and Axe Flinger [Both full HP; Axe Flinger played this turn]

I play Bouncing Blade; the idea being to kill Huffer; maybe get a little damage from Axe Flinger and hit him for 8 with Rag.

I reduce Rag to 4 and kill my Axe Flinger without touching Huffer.

Hunter proceeds to take a Pyroblast from the Axe Flinger and then Rag hits him.

Everything simultaneously went better and worse than expected.

Also Bounceing Blade is cool. Like; I can trade out if the enemy has a board advantage to keep them with 1 strong minion and mine empty; and that's suddenly hard removal for 3. Or in the Axe Flinger event it's a Pyroblast for 7.

Also speaking of my Miracle Patron deck I'm toying with it to find the best cards for it still. Currently testing out Pyromancers. In Warrior. For extra clear/triggers. I mean I already run Commanding Shout [The deck has a total of 9 spells; 4 of which are cantrips] and stuff like Acolyte and Armorsmith; so why not experiment with Pyromancer?

===

The current decklist:

Previous iteration ran x2 Ghouls and Kel'Thuzad in place of the Pyros. Might switch to x1 Pyro x2 Ghoul or x2 Ghoul x2 Execute. Or maybe even a Shield Slam. Or a SheildMaiden for extra sticking power and later punch. I'd run Grom over Rag but I don't actually have Grom. Also considering Rampage; since it's rather easy to get into a situation where it can be played, and a lot of my minions have effects which benefit from it. [EG: Flinger]. Frothings are underwhelming but tend to be huge removal bait so meh. Might swap them out.

Also have I mentioned I really like Axe Flinger's mechanic/design? I'd kill for a card like this in Priest.

How does one go about dealing with Priests?

Like, I'm not even talking about thoughtsteal, shadow madness or any of that stuff, I'm talking about how the fuck do you deal with the priest minions that won't just fucking die no matter what you throw at them because of a combination of heals power word: shields and dark cultists?

Because the ONE TIME I managed to keep board control against a priest I lost simply because I only had 2 cards left in the deck and he was still at 30 health.

(Or are control-ish decks just outright countered by priest? Because that's basically what I run :derp:)

(Speaking as a rank 15 lowbie here, but one who plays priest quite a bit) In short, yeah. Controlly decks with big lategame minions are pretty well-countered by priest, I feel. What I have a hard time dealing with as a priest are early-game aggro decks (a priest has to draw into Wild Pyro to have a chance - a card I don't have yet) and - I think it's midrange stuff? Whatever deck type does 4-6 mana minions together with some burst. When playing against priest, focus on playing around heals - go for the kill on an enemy minion over weakening multiple ones, things like that. A silence could be handy too. Think about focusing on minions with 4 attack - the sweet spot to prevent control, and 3 health - just out of Holy Nova range. Burst damage helps by lowering health so that the Priest has to expend heals on himself instead of minions.

I usually have most trouble with early-game unless I draw into my Chows. Usually have a lot of difficulty with Face Hunters and Mech decks - strangely enough, Zoolock is bearable.

I play Priest almost all the time when I'm not dealing with quests. I find it handy to have answers to most of the people who like to put down legendaries (I'm looking at you, Boom). Plus that golden Faceless Manipulator I was lucky enough to get.

Been having quite a bit of fun with this deck:

Probably resembles a Freeze Mage deck, but it was actually built (when I was new) around the idea of almost everything I have that boosts spellpower (except Dalaran Mage, that thing's just not worth it) and lots of nice spells. If you get a Mana Wyrm early and keep it alive, you're as good as done.

Down here at lower levels, I can get some work done. I can almost see the gears turning in my opponents' heads when I dump a Kobold Geomancer on board - people expect netdecks, it seems. With the amount of spellpower I have, I can get Arcane Explosion up enough to do a lot of work. Board filled with Grim Patrons? Kobold - Azure/Ogre - Arcane Explosion. Who needs Flamestrike when you can get stuff done for about a third of the mana? And beware letting me maintain a board - I've won quite a few games through 2xFireball + Frostbolt to the face.

Don't have Thalnos, Antonidas or Malygos yet, still looking for another Flamecannon+Azure Drake. Considering adding Thaurissan, but not too sure what to cut. Any other suggestions for what I can put in?

How on earth have I won 5/6 games I have played with an aggressive Dragon Warrior which uses Charge?

And weirder yet I haven't even won a game with the intended finisher; Blackwing Crusher + Charge [9 mana 11 damage charge]. I've been winning with Axe Flinger combos or the 3/5 dragon with Charge + Inner Rage

Finally crafted my first cards, two Coldlight Oracles, in order to make my now currently favorite deck (after the novelty of the party warrior has worn off a bit).

I don't have all the cards I would like to have (only one of shadowstep and eviscerate each, for instance) and the deck is definitely weaker than some of my other decks, but it is fun to play. Nothing quite like killing an opponent who has 20 life and a strong board by dropping 4 Coldlight Oracles in a single turn.  BV

I've been loving mechdecks recently, I'm almost done crafting my Mechrogue deck (Just need two arcane nullifiers now) and am good on my way to finishing my Mechmage deck.

I've also hit rank 13 on the ladder. I know it's not exactly great but it's still among the best 20% players so I'm happy :derp:

@Edit

So I just had the best fucking thing ever happen to me in the Drakkisath battle. Specifically the class challenge (Priest).

So I had a full board, one of these monsters was a Sneed's Old Shredder, I am just fucking around since he was at 2 health so I could kill him at any time I wanted, so I was just playing around with the deck.

Then he pulls out Twisted Nether and destroys my entire board and I'm like "Oh, well, I'll just kill him with whatever then."

Except, guess what did Sneed's pop out?

Kel Thu-Freaking-Zad.

Cue ALL OF MY BOARD BEING RESURRECTED ON THE EXACT SAME TURN

I fucking love this class challenge.

Among the cards I got by opening packs, a sixth of my rares and a third of my epics are hunter cards, including such sweet stuff as getting 4x Call Pet within 13 GvG packs, as well as 3x Bestial Wrath. I think Blizzard is trying to tell me something.  :V
