Kiro's reaction to the deck.

I don't even know how to describe this one.
Didn't know you were recording at the time. I'll have to look at these later tonight. Did you finish your run?

Golden Tirion and JERAXXUS, ERADAR LORD OF THE BURNING LEGION :smug:
Because you bought the wrong packs  :derp:, but I guess Sanae saw it fit to bless you. Good girl.

I drew a hand of answers at the start and it reached the late game where the other guy's deck was just better than mine. ;_;

Also, I never drew any of my windfury minions in the last game.

Most people would go and craft something sensible like Windrunner with enough gold to craft any Legendary.

Me? I go and craft Mimiron's head, and create the dumbest deck ever:

Assassino Mekarino

Mimiron's head is a gimmick, but it's part of a gimmick conga line that happens to fit in with the OTHER gimmick. The decklist is:

Deadly Poison x2
Clockwork Gnome x2
Blade Flurry
Eviscerate
Sap x2
Goblin Auto-Barber x2
Mechwaper x2
Harvest Golem x2
Iron Sensei x2
SI7 x2
Tinkertown Technician x2
Tinker's Sharpsword Oil x2
Mechanical Yeti x2
Assassin's Blade x2
Mimiron's Head
Gadgetzan Autioneer x2
Sprint

Gimmick/wincon #1 is Mimiron's head.
Gimmick/wincon #2 is simply a Mech Rush
Gimmick/wincon #3 is a stupidly buffed Assassin's Blade [This is actually reliable]
And it can all be driven by a soild earlygame which leads into Spear Parts + Gatgetzan as a draw engine to find said Assassin's Blade ampers. There's 6 ways to pump Assassin's Blade in the deck, and even then, I'm happy to throw some on basic knives if I must.

Currently only lost a single game with the deck. Against a Mage who literally had the most godly card-draws possible. [Coin 3/2 Mage Girl + Mirror Image -> 2nd 3/2 -> Frostbolt -> Arcane Intellect -> Good RNg Missiles -> Another Mirror Image -> Water Elly]

THEY CAN'T BEAT ALL THE GIMMICKS.

[Note: Deck is not final. I'm probobly insane not using Backstabs but Saps are great for Taunt removal when I buff my Assassin's Blade, or to make V-07 win.]

I don't even remember who put the above in my sig. [Wasn't me] Nor do I understand why I keep it here anymore.
Those two facts sum me up pretty well.

I just won a game by Hammer of Wrathing my own Cult Master. I don't even...

[I needed to make room for a Quartermaster for Leathal, I was on 9 after a Mage Coin Pyroblasted so obviously had a 2nd]

Today out of the portal came:
One Ironbark protector
Two Neptulons
One Coldlight
One Thalnos
One Sneeds
One King Krush
I feel this card is pretty bad, not even an 80% chance for a legendary.

I'm having too much fun throwing away half my deck with fel reavers.
Sucks when I don't draw them until I'm already halfway through my deck though.

Playing at the start of a new season is suffering.

My matchups:

Zoo-Zoo-Zoo-Handlock [Well. I think it was Handlock. He dropped 2 Twilight Drakes Turn 3/4 and then died Turn 6 because he tried to facerush me and ignored my 3 SoJ'ed dudes who then got Quartermastered... twice]-Hunter-Zoo-Zoo. That's 5/7 Zoo; 6/7 mindless aggro.

Admittedly I am playing what is arguably Aggro Paladin [Although honestly it's more midrange], but seriously; at least my deck has a Plan B unlike these mindless rush decks. [Also I only lost 1 game. And it was against a Zoo where I had an awful starting hand. Turns out Zoo dosen't work when you can match Zoo's earlygame and then drop Bolvar or a massive Frostwolf or Quartermaster.]. And it's not like I see anyone else playing a Token Paladin.

These guys are not even good. The last one tried to Implosion a Shielded Minibot's Divine Shield; paused a while after doing so as if waiting for Imps then realized he did 0 damage so gets 0 Imps and then said 'That was a mistake' before he proceeded to Soulfire his own face and concede.

You can't even put it down to 'I wanna play games fast so I rise fast' because half of these guys sandbag like no business. I mean seriously. If you are a Hunter how long do you have to think about Undertaker-Coin-Webspinner on Turn 1? Because apparently mine had to burn the rope. And he wasn't AFK. He mulliganed.

I mean, I get that it's easy ranks for me but seriously. Play something else. I wanna know something other than 'This deck wrecks Zoo/Huntards'.

So a bunch of people really really want me to play this. Thus, question:

Assuming I am never going to spend any money on the game, how bad of an idea is it to start playing? Will I be grinding forever just to have a chance to get the absolute staples everyone needs, while still never going to see more than 2~3 legendaries, which will probably be something like Blingtron anyways? Because that is what I feel it is gonna be like.

Then again, arena might be pretty cool I guess?

For the new people:

- The ranked grind will be difficult. Don't play casual mode; it is not casual in there because there's no actual matchmaking rating in effect. Play ranked mode and see how far you can get. You will improve with time, more cards, and knowledge of the meta decks.

- Try every class and level them to 10 as you will get quest gold and unlock new cards for all those classes. And it may also give you a feel as to which class you enjoy the most, which cards you might want to get and also if you have the patience to play the game in its current noob-unfriendly state.

- Before you jump into Arena, try to check out a few arena streams and see how they draft and play. I'd recommend Hafu, GuardsmanBob, and I'm hearing about another really skilled guy named ratsmah.

- The biggest issue right now for new players is that Arena only rewards the GvG expansion packs. This is a huge problem for new players as there are far more "required" cards in the Classic packs and Naxxaramas adventure. You have to buy Classic Packs with gold now and that sucks. If you are inclined to spend money in the game, buy the full Naxxaramas adventure and go and enjoy that. I highly recommend dropping the $25 or so for that (time is money and ain't nobody got time to grind 3,500 gold for all of Naxxaramas).

- I would recommend not to craft any cards for awhile. You can find servicable soulbound alternatives and you will understand how your deck works and will get a feel for what you truly need down the line.

- While you can get a Legend worthy cheap deck with Deathrattle Hunter and Zoo Warlock or some other deck you can find on the internet, experimenting and playing the game on a clean account can be really fun.

- Add some of us to your friends list. You can now spectate friends and it does make the game more enjoyable if you are not Skype screen sharing. I play mostly Arena and have a 5 win average and over 2,600 arena wins so that's a lot of experience. Kiro#1584.

- Good luck and have fun.

I can get around 4-5 wins now on arena even with no epic/legendary draws (unless I get really really really shitty choices.  Please no pirates T_T)

Arena is less stale than ranked most of the time too. And there ain't no barriers for that like getting Haunted Creepers,  Chows and Belchers.

The only way to win against Control Warrior with a F2P deck is to hope they draw into none of their legendaries.
As for the other decks, Loatheb can't even be answered with spells the turn he's played.
At least we can all wait for that eventual Dr Boom nerf, right?
