Uhm, yesterday, this game ( http://dotabuff.com/matches/379773751 ) happened.
This smurf I used to teach some friends of mine about dota 2.
After doing that, I decided to carry some /vg/ stacks with it.
When I tried to play with one my friends again the mmr was so high he went 1-17 and abandoned.
Some days later I played some troll games to relieve some stress, after a particularly frustrating loss in my main acc. Suddenly "468 people are spectating this game right now".
My mirana game was first page first game.
I was like, what the fuck? 
The next game I played was against s4, loda and kelly stack.
I faced s4's Zeus mid. I randomed Windrunner because I hadn't seen who I was facing since everyone loaded fucking fast, and just randomed because who picks.
I won the lane, not that it says much, since Zeus stood no chance against one of the best last hitters of the game, plus my supports' rotations were exceptional. It was a stomp in general.

If you guys don't believe me add me, and I'll accept you and verify :V

I can't complain about the MM! Plus I actually had no trouble playing in that level. So yeah veri gud matchmaking I must say  :yukkuri:
If I hadn't shown respect by not camping fountain like sniper cm did I'd have a better score too. Oh well.
I wonder what my next game with that account will be. I'll try to mm the same time as SingSing so maybe it matches me with him. That'd be one fucking dream come true.

What's Diretide and why should I play it?

Basically both teams have to gather candy on the map, either from jungle creeps or baby-roshan creeps that spawn I believe in placement of catapult creeps, and bring it to their basket. After a certain period of time, Roshan will come out of his pit and start wanting candy from specific players, if the player fails to give Roshan candy he will chase/hit you until you die, and then move onto another player. If you give him candy he'll eat it and move onto another player anyway. (he's basically just a hazard while the main focus of the game is to get candy for your team) Also, enemy players can go to your basket and start taking candy from it by autoattacking it.

At the end of the round, whichever team has the most candy wins, and they get good quality items while the losing team gets bad quality items. After that, both teams have to work together to kill Roshan, who has health/armor depending on how much candy he got during the round. There's leaderboards for how fast people take to kill him.

It can be pretty fun, but it's also quite unbalanced if you have heroes like Anti-Mage who can just endless avoid Roshan as well as blink to the enemy's basket.
