The author of a shitzillion great books, occasional military consultant and founder of Red Storm Entertainment, once a haven of amazing games like the original Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six and Splinter Cell series died today, way too young.

Doesn't say how or why. Maybe its a government cover up because he was getting too accurate with his writings.

That's a real pity. He was quite a one for detail in his books, and that made them quite entertaining, despite being doorstop-length.
