1. I hate PCB. I've beaten Yukari and it never really rubbed off on me(gameplay, music is good though).
2. Favorite character is the cardman midboss from Mystic Square extra.
3. Dislike SA bomb system a lot.

yeah, that's about it.

Plus I've noticed that a lot of people don't seem to really appreciate the stage 5 theme, so yeah.
Appreciation from this corner here.

On-topic.  I have about 800something Touhou pics in a folder someplace.  I can only think of one of those offhand that could qualify as sexual fanservice.  And no, I wouldn't have it any other way.

2. I hate the new continue system (I'm only able to get to stage 4 in UFO because of it)

I've noticed that much of this thread actually consists of stuff that most people agree on. >_>

So to be different, let me come out and say I like the continue system. It's certainly not conductive to unlock stages for practice, but it does force you to get better at the stage, more than stage practice ever does. After all, what could possibly be better practice than spending over an hour on the same stage, desperately trying to pass it with only two deaths, knowing that if you quit you have to go through the hell you had to go through to get there all over again?

8. i thought Touhou was an RPG game before i researched into it, rather than an anime(Marisa stole the blahblahblah looked like it was from an RPG)
9. i don't have a picture folder for strictly Touhou pictures. (however, i do have one for music)

You had to say something I agree on. Sigh.
Sure, you do have to repeat the whole stage, but I prefer having to repeat it endlessly to having few chances to die and die and die again.

I sure wish there was a fully made 3d turn based touhou RPG, but doesn't seem feasible.

Well, I suppose the fact that I'm a huge fan of a character who technically doesn't exist should count, right?

Also, I not only have a Touhou pic folder, I have several pic folders, sorted by character.

...And added to that, I have several Wriggle folders...

I'm curious, is there a lot of Touhou fans who have folders dedicated to images, doujins, or Touhou-related (music doesn't count) stuff? The only Touhou-related folders that I have on my computer are the ones that contain the 'official' games.

I have a Touhou directory in my Images partition. Within this Touhou directory I have subdirectories such as Wallpapers, Other Wallpapers, SSiB, Bloody Watch of Fate, Bad End, Inaba of the Moon and Inbaba of the Earth, and such. Random, unassigned images are just floating around in the general Touhou directory. I should create a new subdirectory for truly disturbing stuff, because I have this one mini-comic involving Cirno that is definitely not PG-13.

I have an image, music, and games folder for touhou but they are all under general folders.
I have a manga folder and the only thing in it is touhou. (Advent Cirno & Inaba of the blah blah)

Also does anyone like Marisa's Pc-98 theme more than her windows theme?

My Music partition has a Touhou games music directory, but bands like IOSYS, Aqua Style or Sayuri Anpo aren't put under one umbrella. My Entertainment partition (videos, anime, games and television shows) has a Touhou subdirectory in the Games directory. But best of all, I put a Touhou launcher - with game sublaunchers - on my dock:

Um... Both Casket of Star and Love-Colored Magic are PC-98 themes~

Unless it's in a specific group (i.e. Touhou Tarot), all of my pics organize themselves alphabetically as I name them things like Koishi3, Akis5, SDM9, and Yuyuko29 as I run across them.  Now and then I check for duplicates and reorganize them appropriately.

Which reminds me, I don't have all of i's SWR-style pics or any of the smirks.  No, I don't have a Pixiv account and don't need one.

Melody-wise, the PC-98 and Windows versions are nearly identical, but the PC-98 sound has this minimalist, nostalgic sound to it. No electro-trumpets.

But I love the PC-98 themes in general. They sound older than they are. Makes me miss my old Atari.

Then again, I have this habit of not saving anything that I found on the internet.

I suppose PC-98 themes still sound nice; too bad that I'm pretty much a sucker to ZUN's obnoxious-and-overblown trumpets.

I remember reading somewhere ZUN talking about purposefully making the trumpet effects of his synth sound like they were coming from a synth. Which I think is awesome.

>:( WRONG. WRONG WRONG WRONG.

Also Atfynt is missing a number of songs from PC-98, as well as only having a select few from the fighting games.

As for my opinion, LCM>LCMS. Along with being overrated to hell (Maiden's Capriccio is better in every conceivable way), Master Spark tries to be more than it is: An updated version of a song that is 58 seconds long. The original song was short, but it was catchy. Master Spark does that thing that bugs me when people take an old school song and try to make it modern sounding, creating this dissonance between the instruments and the song itself. Dream Battle pulls it off by adding in a whole new section that is made of win.

I do not save any Fan Art I see online (I should probly start saving some though.) Also any Touhou music I get goes into my Generic music Folder.

Also I store all the Touhou games in my Music Folder. Its kinda hard to find them at times.

You are right here.  I just saw all the HRtP stuff and went "seriously?".

I'll agree with LCMS being overrated, but LCM still loses IMO because it's a 58-second song that loops through a boss fight that lasts for over two minutes (which is at least 1:30 longer than it should given how utterly cheap SoEW Marisa is).

And Eastern Wind was the best Stage 1 theme before UFO came out, admit it.  It actually sounds like a theme fitting a loli trying not to get shelled by a tank.

Eastern Wind was, is, and probably always will be my least favorite stage 1 theme, due to how boring and monotone it is. Its one and only redeeming quality is that it is responsible for this:

I don't.

Here's how it works for me

Any Touhou pics (Usually SFW) -saved to> 'My Pictures' folder.
Any NSFW Touhou pics/doujins -saved to> Hentai Vault-Sigma folder (which contains ALL my porn)
Touhou games -> Dimensional Transfer Station-Beta folder -then saved to> Touhou Shit folder (Dimensional Transfer Station-Beta contains any and all games I have, most are Emulators/ROMs)
Touhou music -> MUGEN -then saved to> Sound folder

This method of saving isn't exclusive to Touhou shit either.

In thinking more about it, I've now moved all the truly sick Touhou images to their own directory. The Cirno rape/suicide image is not something I want laying about next to some cute chibi stuff.

I ask questions no one else asks.(at least not to my knowledge)
For example
Did Flan's wings grow, or did she make them?
Does Yuyuko still have her feet because her body is sealed beneath the Saigyouji Ayakashi?
Can Suika feel with her horns? Does the sake in her gourd come in different flavors?
Can you swim across the Sanzu River?
Must Kanako and Suwako remain in the shrine?
If Yukari gaps into Satori's mind, does Satori hear her own thoughts?
Just random questions...

FIGHT!

I look at NSFW stuff, but never saves them (also goes for non-Touhou material).

... I'm just weird. Whenever I want to hear Touhou music, I go to Youtube. Whenever I want to see Touhou images that I've seen before, I look for it again where I found it.

As a result, I have a pretty empty computer...

Did Flan's wings grow, or did she make them?
They were forcibly pinned on her 496 years ago for Christmas, and the rest is history.

Does Yuyuko still have her feet because her body is sealed beneath the Saigyouji Ayakashi?
She saw that they were fashionable after Mima got some feet first.

Can Suika feel with her horns?
That would depend on what you mean by "feel".  I'd say yes.

Does the sake in her gourd come in different flavors?
I think she can change its flavor by imagining it so.  Drunkenness lends to a very flexible reality.

Can you swim across the Sanzu River?
Aren't there supposed to be souls seeking to pull you under if you try it?

Must Kanako and Suwako remain in the shrine?
TH 12.3 seems to say no.

If Yukari gaps into Satori's mind, does Satori hear her own thoughts?
If she could, how could she tell?
In case I haven't demonstrated it already, I claim to have all the answers ;)
