Going to be hosting some online tournaments soon - Melty will definitely be one, currently have a possible 4 EU players who can play. KoF is another possibility. Anyone interested in joining? Any games you guys want to see get played, or want to play? I'm also up for hosting NA / SEA tournaments if there's enough people for the games. Let me know!

If I can get a Xbox live gold subscription, then I would be interested in joining any game I have and/or any game I can buy through the Xbox store.
Some games I want to see are UMvC3, Skullgirls, Injustice, and Soulcalibur V. I am up for anything though,just give me advance notice so I can practice.

Alright! I return with a few dates in mind. Either the last weekend of this month, so the 25th and 26th, or the first of February, the 1st and 2nd. Either works! Just let me know if anyone can't make it to either of those weekends or can only attend one day. I'd rather not cut participation if possible.

On the other hand, anyone got any ideas for a witty tournament name? Sapz and myself brainstormed a bit and only really came up with MotK's Fight Night. If anyone has any good ideas, let me know.

Sign-ups will be up within a weeks time.

Brackets are being made right this second. Before I post them, should I be aware of any connectivity issues with some games? Mainly looking at EU to US for games like Skullgirls, Marvel, etc. Let me know! If there is, I'll make an NA and EU bracket. If there's not enough to host either, we can just put them together if everyone can tolerate a bit of lag.

Also, unless there is huge demand for it I will only be hosting tournaments for the PC versions of the games. If there's enough people to justify it, I'll expand to Xbox360 too.

I'll be hosting anything people want me to, but obviously only the games with adequate players will be played. Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code and Skullgirls are almost definitely going to be played, I think. If there's any other games that people definitely want me to try and host let me know either here, via PMs or on IRC!

I ended up choosing Fighters of the Kaleidoscope as I felt it was most fitting, I'll use your suggestion and Suikama's suggestion for later tournaments!

Can't speak for Shimatora directly but from his past tournaments it's probably safe to say no restrictions on character switching, best 2 out of 3 (except finals which may be 3 out of 5, probably not relevant if we're doing round robin), and we generally discuss things in #sokumaidens on PPIRC which is basically fighting game general at this point. Don't hold me to these, it's just guessing from past experiences. :V

Looking forward to momiji looping it up, as always.

Sapz got it 100% right! We meet in #sokumaidens on PPIRC an hour or so before tournament start at the latest to test connections, then from there get things started. For MBAACC, you need to be on Version 1.4 and have cccaster2.0d.

As for Skullgirls whatever is the most recent version on Steam will be the version we play. I don't think there is a caster for it yet, if it even needs one, so we'll just be using the built in netplay.
