Augh, sorry about the lack of progress on the translation patch. I have way too many projects for my own good. Also doesn't help that a bunch of RSG's translations bug me and I decided to try and do some retranslations... which I just stopped doing at some point and never got around to finishing. ^^;


Anyways, besides that, posting here to notify everyone that they're planning on putting out a content patch for the game this Comiket 86:

I believe it's called the "Gōzoku Patch" (豪族パッチ). Looks like it adds the Taoists as bosses, similar to what the Oni Patch for Touhou Diablo did.

hmm are you going to do the patch for both versions or are you going to focus on the new expansion patch?
Do you think i should just make my translation released publicly as an early alpha patch?(yes it has issues especially in dialogue, but its playable)

Well i translated the expansion patch(powerful clans) and play tested(not the second game yet though) it i can send it to ryason55 if you want it.

if you aren't sure you'll have the time for the patches i can release either of them as prerelease patches in the meantime.

I'm just going to pre release these patches as-is until better ones are available, they will have a few mistranslations but they are very playable.
everything but cutscenes are translated of course,i haven't fixed much up in it tbh though, also the patches do include a pre-built in patch to sync progress made in multiplayer!(finishing a quest gives rewards and completion to everyone playing)

I did take a look at those scripts for the cutscene dialogues but i was only able to make much sense of one of them(not counting the opening),
so in general i'm not sure how much help i can be as far as those go, translation applications are fairly bad at dialogue.

Um... for some reason the game closes when it does the opening scene is there a way to fix it.

Gonna playthrough it and give you a yell if there's anything wrong.

Problem so far: Ok both my friend and me are playing the game and apparently the game crashes if the host defeats the boss host in multiplayer. It's so weird but, so far the game in English is working like a charm we both managed to nab so many rare drops.

Findings: Ice Fairy Wings + Killing Knives using partner is SO OP!

I've been playing this game a lot for the past week - thanks RSG for making the english patch =w=b
Never would've learned how upgrading and accessories work without it.

This game is pretty much easier than the first one because you don't have to rely as much on grinding mobs and hoping they drop items with the skills that you want.
*And the explanations on skill levels really helped

Now I have even more game-breaking stats than in the last game with much less grinding.
