[Art] Painting some Fanart

Hello!

I'm Shiara and I really enjoy drawing and painting and I usually draw for fun. Now though I have decided to try out a bit more pro take as I am going to have an art table at Tracon (in Finland) this fall. Amongst my own stuff, I'm working on a bunch of fanart of characters from different series. Couple of those chars are from the Touhou Project. So I thought I could give it a shot and see how people here like my watercolor art.

I really like the Touhou series, but I am far from expert. So I ask you as my style is less anime/manga than many fanarts of touhou... I'd love to hear how do you guys think I caught the characters with the semi-realism? How does the feel of the picture match your own image of the character? Especially with Hijirin painting that is still in progress. Are there some fixable elements I'm missing? I have worked hard on all these pictures and well, I just really hope people like the stuff. That they are as good as it is yet possible for me. I am very grateful of any criticism or comments! : D

I love the colouring on Mokou's face, and especially the face!  Byakuren is nice too, but her face is bothering me a little.

Thank you, I am myself quite suprised how well Mokou turned out.  You're right, I still need to work on Byakuren's face. Is there anything in particular you think I need to fix? C:

Regardless, it's nice to see traditional art that isn't bug-eyed animus. You don't see it often and it's always such a nice breath of fresh air.
