I'm actually only upset because the narrative unraveled completely in the last 2 minutes and we ended up with an incredible travesty of storytelling. There should be monuments to how awfully implemented those final few minutes are.

The entire ending, in general, was an incredible travesty of storytelling. Absolutely ruined the entire series for me.

I feel tempted to watch the series just to see how badly it ends. It sounds like the greatest worst ending ever. Hell, I'm getting excited just thinking about it.

Don't. The series is only decent throughout, and just isn't worth the time. Want a bad-end anime? School Days.
