Hopeless Masquerade Koishi crash

I have installed 13.5 and applied the 1.01 patch. For some reason, whenever I use Koishi and use a certain attack ( looks like a vine with flowers) the game crashes. I have my system locale set to Japanese, so I'm wondering if this is a known issue.

Yes it's a VERY known issue just take the rose with vines spellcard out of her deck for the moment and replace it with something else until Tasoforo makes a new patch to fix it.

Alternatively, try running the game without the patch. From my experimenting with it and from what others on this board are saying, it seems to introduce some game-crashing problems.

Tasoforo will probably have a patch for the patch soon. For now if you want to play crash-free try it patch-free and see if that helps out.

Version 1.02 is out now! Supposedly fixes Koishi, but I can't install it, it gives me an error message after I selected the path. It tells me something about characters like slashes, question and exclamation marks. Any ideas?

Switch your locale to english to install it.
Why, because for some computers the slashes are replaced with yen signs.  :V
After you patch the game you can go back to Japanese locale.

I have never heard of this being an issue before, though, as in Japanese locale, all slashes act as yen signs. Just are the ways of Windows' unicode.
