You should be able to safely run the weened dungeon on the lowest rank for gold.

Novice is fine, but Adept gives up much more experience+gold, and isn't that much tougher than Novice. There are those elemental masks, they take 1 damage from everything unless you hit them with a strong enough attack (I think it has to do 1000 or more damage, I'm not sure). Bring a powerful helper with you to help deal with the masks, and target them first when they show up.

That said, I've amassed over 500k in coins, and I'm about 60% to rank 27. (update: now actually 27, with a touch over 700k coins)

Huh.  This's actually pretty nice.  I didn't get anything special on my first rare egg pull and didn't feel like scumming for a new one, but when I earned my second one I wound up with Freyja.  She any good?

Very much so.  Earth Enhancement is a fantastic skill for any mono-green team.  She also makes a solid leader.

Dragon hunts are pretty awesome indeed, I think there was a calculator earlier in the thread to tell you when they occur (the dragon elements also change each day, so you can level different characters).

So in the span of just a few days I went from having no Fire dudes any better than a Samurai Ogre (I did have a Knight floating around at one point but decided I wanted the raw ATK more than the skill) to having too many awesome Fire dudes I can't use because :size:. Pulled a Gigas not too long ago (he's like my Ogre but awesomer!), and a Horus basically just now.

Still running the Ogre in my parties because everything's too biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig. :V

They drop occasionally out of Twin Temple Diana, which is part of the series of dungeons you'll enter after beating the Tower of Giants.

They also drop in the Wednesday Dungeon.

Took a swing at the Tuesday dungeon and cleared all except rainbow. It wasn't too difficult and I learnt that you don't even have to move orbs in straight lines :V

Rainbow can be cleared by pretty much anybody as long as you have a healer set as leader and a (green) Odin friend.  The first four stages are not particularly difficult and Rainbow Keeper cannot actually kill you if you have ~5000 health or more and can heal up to full every 4 turns.

It takes like an hour to clear it this way, but getting a Rainbow Keeper is worth it.  Not only are they needed for several evolutions of powerful critters, they start out at max level and have 3126 HP and 1026 ATK right off the bat.

Edit: Most of the damage you'll be doing will be from Odin's skill, which is why it takes so long.  If you happen to have a Lilith (or even better, a Neptune... or a Hades) you'll be that much better off.  Otherwise, just bring your best stuff (preferably things that have skills that do damage/heal/reduce defense)

Diagonals actually work?  That'd be very useful actually...I'll need to look into it sometime, when the Volcano of Vulcan isn't trying to eat me alive because I only have my starter for blue monsters[well, outside of ones borrowed from other people of course].

Where would you recommend, if anywhere's available to me yet, for looking for the masks to evolve the goblins?  Namely Red and Green.

Isis (and Double Isis *_*) teams are among the most broken in the game.  It's pretty easy to get consistent 3-combos, and suddenly your entire team does 9x damage every turn <_<

Depends on the + and it's varied based on the natural stats of the monster, I think.  And yes:

A) If you fuse +1 Monster into +0 Monster, +0 will become +1

B) If you fuse +3 Monster into +5 Monster, +5 will become +8

Get something better from the egg machines. Run the second or third level of volcano of vulcan for the red drop. You can use a goblin for now but no need to invest into it.

Hm, so I should probably try to remember to switch over to a team with Freyja as the leader for the sake of the higher likelihood of people using her over Plesio so as to gain more Pal Points... 

When you say 'the red drop', what monster are you referring to?

Goblins are red in MtG. I just assumed goblin was just you needing a red mon.
