I'm trying to get EoSD working on this computer again after a long time of not having played it. When playing normally, it works just fine for a little while, but then after about a minute or so of play starts steadily slowing down little by little from 60 FPS to around 40 FPS. I've tested with and without vpatch, using the Japanese and English versions, and using compatibility mode, and have the had the same results no matter which way I run it. No other Touhou game does this for me, but EoSD has it happening every time. Has anyone experienced a similar issue, or have any ideas as to what to do?
I don't believe it's an issue with my computer's specs, but just in case it's relevant I'm running Windows 7 x64 with an i5 M430 processor and a Mobility Radeon HD 5400 Series graphics card.
