I think, my nightmarish way of derping drawing should work well with binocular octopuses.
Also, I've finished my 15-paged notebook, and already made a new one.
So, for comparision, my old drawings.
Improvement: I now draw legs! :V

Actually, I drawed it from photo of my classmate, so it hardly can be named as improvement. Eh, I'm still so derp...

Not that bad a result on that request, there. Some feedback in blue:

- Eyes would look better if placed lower. A little lower.

- That hand palm could stand to be wider, on the viewer's right side, more specifically. Try that pose in front of a mirror; you'll see that that right side goes past the wrist a little, in a bump-like fashion. If that explanation's not clear enough, I can draw you a hand palm, if you'd like, so you can get the gist of it :) (Hand palms are one thing I don't suck at that bad, lol).

- Also, the fingers. You drew them in the reverse order; from closeness to her face, the fingers are supposed to be:
Index
Middle
Ring
Pinky

Instead. With the pinky being the most visible. I should know; I tried that pose in front of a mirror :P

- There is other stuff regarding this pic too, but I don't know how to advise regarding it ^^;

Regarding that tentacle pic, I think it looks ok. Perhaps the tentacle creature could stand to be more detailed, but it doesn't looks bad as it is now. :) Though, I have a few things to say about the figure, also in blue:

I'm assuming that's a girl, so please correct me if I'm wrong, hehe. Also, feel free to disregard this advice if you were aiming to draw an androgynous girl. :)

- The balance of the top half of the body and the bottom half is off. More specifically, the top half is significantly taller than the bottom half; if you're gonna draw girls, perhaps you should make it the other way around (or better yet, make both halves even).
- The hips being wider and more shapely would make her look more female. I can provide a redline if you want, though perhaps it'd be a better idea to look at pictures of actual naked hips. Be they drawn by a great ero-mangaka or of pics made for students of figure drawing.

I see other stuff that's off, but I dunno how to advise regarding that either.

Dunno how to advise regarding that profile face.

Anyway, keep it up! You're improving at a faster pace than I am, if that encourages you ^^

Regarding those pics, it is mutant anatomy, he-he.
About profile - no advices because it is perfect. :V Though, drawing from imagination and from photo are very different things, so this picture could hardly be named as progress.
