> Youmu picks up Renko, who starts to protest, but decides against it. You sling the unconscious Maribel over your shoulder, and bid farewell to the two ghosts.

> You leave the Netherworld, and start flying down, Renko panicking like.. a little boy. You descend just outside the human village, where Mystia's store is.

> "I think it's better to check if the karakasa is inside before we bring them in. And Mystia, for that matter." Youmu says, putting Renko down.

> Renko bends over and almost kisses the ground. "I've never been so thankful to have my feet here!" she says.

So in other words, don't surprise her. You can always surprise someone else. I can't even begin to tell you how stupid an idea it is to surprise her. It's way beyond Cirno-level."

First me and Mysti through she was Rika in disguise, but she doesn't feel like a robot." Kogasa says, indicateing the table with her umbrella.

> You can't see the person due to the menu, but you see their legs are covered completely by a red dress.

It's not normal for her to teleport away in the middle of a... punishment session.  In fact, it's not normal for her to teleport anything more than to swap with a doppelganger. While I'm thankful it happened when it did, whatever happened that left her without her parasoul, teleported from her home, and with large holes in her favorite shirt and blouse, didn't leave her very happy. As my mistress' servant, it's my duty to find out what happened so I can make her feel better. She refuses to tell me, claims she doesn't remember." Elly says.

> Elly, oddly enough, looks unsurprised.

> "I thought it was something like that. I used to be a Shinigami, so I had a feeling she was linked to divinity in some way, but couldn't pin down why. You see, in a way, I was promoted from a Shinigami by the Yamas. I guard the door between worlds themselves. The Yuuka you think is Yuuka... is only a fraction of her actual power. It's just a doppelganger she created of herself, to sort out anything of interest in Gensokyo, and to experience Gensokyo without actually being there. The Yuuka you saw last night was the Yuuka I guard. Whatever pulled her from her home to Gensokyo last night, did it between worlds." Elly explains.

> With a responsibility like that, you guess what Remilia said about Elly's power last night is true.

The fairies thought things would get better for 'em, but they wouldn't have. Even they would've been in danger. I'm actually planning on figuring out how to do damage to the divine myself, in case something like this happens again. Sometimes Lost Divines should remain lost, because you never know if they're turn out all Omnicidal, like the old me was."
>Adjust our neck a bit with a few pops. "Though that'd sure explain why it hurt when she slammed me into the ground though. The Yuuka that Gensokyo knows probably woulda been almost totally wiped out after an escapade like that."

> "I'd say that the Yuuka here is only about 10% of the power of the Yuuka I work for, give or take depending on which one gained more power over time. However, that 10% is still strong enough to hold it's own against you other four, in a 1v1 situation, although she might not win. Also... you know she blew me away last night? Well, if that was the Gensokyo-Yuuka, I could probably kill her easily." Elly claims. "I'd put myself at about 20% of my mistress' power. Maybe 30%."

[Note: In case it's not obvious yet, this Elly has nothing to do with Elly Quest Elly, different back-story, higher power level. I'd say different attitude but Elly was player-character that time so...]

> "Depends. You got time for a fight?" Elly asks. She takes a scythe-shaped badge from her hat, and it expands into her full-sized scythe. You feel a wave of... intimidation come off her. Like the fear of death, enough to even effect you. You heard Shinigami invoke the fear of death in people around them, but you didn't think it would be strong enough that you'd feel it, and you didn't feel it when Komachi fought Seiga.

> "Yeah, that's all I need to know. I'm in no hurry to get back, Yuuka wants to sit next to the blood lake and mull over last night or something anyway, I'm not needed. Yuuka is more defense for the portal than I can ever be."

> "Ahhh, that makes sense. I'll tell ya what. I'll help you out. Besides, I get her sorted out, and then we both get hat we want. As I stated before, I'm in no big rush." Elly says.

> The feeling of intimidation vanishes the instant you mention you can't fight now. Elly seems to have great control of the feeling of power she gives off, and ability to conceal her power.  You presume it's a Shinigami thing, so she can sneak up undetected.

> Elly shrinks her scythe down to hat-ornament size and puts it back. "I wouldn't advise you to tell them what I am. In fact, I'd rather you didn't tell anyone, except maybe the other three." she says.

> You head outside. You see Renko and Maribel, who is now awake. Youmu is about as far away from Maribel as she can get, probably because she was the one who knocked her out.
