>Take our seat
>Class begins a couple of minutes after you claim your seat. Sanae ends up a few seats away from you this time, swept away by a group of your classmates that want their own turn to speak to the new girl. Their attempts are not as successful as when Meiling was in charge of class, however, as Elly-sensei runs a tighter ship than the groundskeeper. She's a bit drier in terms of her style than many of the others, but she knows her stuff and it shows. Her dry nature on this day, however, presents you a problem that you don't normally have. While you are a very good student, you find your attention drifting now and then, and staying awake poses a bit of a problem for you where it normally would not. But you remind yourself that if your fellow students saw you, the Morning Star, sleeping in class, there would be questions, and you'd prefer not to lie or make excuses. The sound of the howling wind rattling the windows helps keep your focus up, as well.
>Elly-sensei puts Sanae to the test about fifteen minutes in, and Sanae shows that her english is indeed very good. You yourself are not skilled enough at the language to tell if she is 'fluent' or not, but she answers every question Elly asks perfectly. And she doesn't seem to have much of an accent to her pronunciation, either. Impressive.
>Class ends without incident and without you being called on directly.
>Your next class is chemistry, a bit of a walk from here. The school has two chemistry labs in this building, both on the second floor, both away from the second years' classrooms. It's one of the more fragrant areas of the school, which you hear your classmates inform Sanae of on the way, as well as warning her about Medicine Melancholy, your chemistry teacher. She's not a very personable sort. A popular joke among your peers is that she and Mima would be each others' type, if either one HAD a type.
>There seems to be a bit of a buzz among the students as you make your way towards the stairs leading to the 'chem wing' as it's called. You catch the word 'tiger' here and there, and when you pass by the post-up board for notes and flyers next to the staircase, you see a small gathering of students clustered around a photograph. One of those students is Shikako, your vice captain of the tennis club, and she notes your arrival, waving you over.
