>"Rin.... You know that it's alright to be frank with me. If something is bothering you, it would do my own mind better to know that you feel comfortable enough to share it with me than to suffer in silence."

>"Rin.... You know that it's alright to be frank with me. If something is bothering you, it would do my own mind better to know that you feel comfortable enough to share it with me than to suffer in silence."

>Letty, upon hearing you speak, merely smiles a quiet smile and goes on ahead of you both.
>For her part, Rin looks slightly abashed. "Sorry. I know ya want me honest alla time, it's just..." It is not a slave's duty to burden the master. Such is the way, as she was taught. She still struggles with that, though she is trying, and you help her when you can.
>"It's just..." she continues. "I meant it when I said I hadn't ever seen ya as exhausted as you were last night. And between that and that fall you had, and you spendin' most of Thursday in bed... Well, I'm worried about you."

>"It does the heart good to have as faithful a companion as you, Rin. I understand, and I am truly sorry for giving you cause to worry. Perhaps accepting the play was a little ambitious, but I didn't want to see Yamame's efforts unravel; I do not mean to push myself any further than necessary."

>"It isn't just the play. You was gone all yesterday, which is your call, of course!" she adds hastily. "But now there's this tiger thing, and.." She pauses, as though searching for the right words, then sighs and simply says, "Is there somethin' goin' on? Somethin' wrong?"

>Give her a long look. If we're trying to teach her to be honest, rather than worry whether this honesty would be a burden to others, it's hypocritical for us to do the very thing to her in return. And yet...
>Let out a wary breath.
>"Rin... if you'd like to know what happened yesterday in more detail, I can share it with you. But... I think it is a topic for when we're back home."

>"I don't mean to give you cause to worry, Rin."

>Rin's returning smile is genuine, her desire to support you plain on her face. "I just wanna help, if I can."
>Though your attention is slightly taken by the trio of canine-eared students approaching the top of the stairs, you do not miss your ring reacting to Rin's words.

>The pride Rin feels at your praise shows as plain as day. But you can't help but wonder, if only in passing, if it's the pride of a servant, or the joy of a true friend? You devoutly hope for the latter.
>Rin nods at your suggestion.

>Head to class

>With Rin's concern dealt with, at least for now, you turn your mind back towards more mundane matters, that being biology with Wriggle-sensei. The sensation you got from your ring weighs on your mind as well, but you do your best not to dwell on that. Plenty of time to tackle that issue, too, when class is over.
>The 'bio wing' as it's called has a much nicer scent than the chem wing, but you do detect a faint hint of rain water in the corridor amidst the various scents of the rest of the students heading for class here. This corridor has an exit to the outside at the end of the hall, and by the smell of it, someone had it propped open during lunch. Probably one of the cliques gone out for a smoke. Another picture of your journey with Kiku is taped up on the wall here, and you draw looks and talk here as you did before, but your students do not bar your path, allowing you to reach the lab unobstructed.
>Letty is absent from this class, as she has instrumental music in this timeslot on Mondays. You do, however, see Minoriko and Reisen here sharing a table, as well as Reimu and Yuyuko. Sanae is also present, and she gives you a friendly wave as you enter. Her table mates are an interesting pair. One of them is Ayumi, the oni with the colorful hair from Szenska's yesterday, and the other is also an oni, the mono-horned Yuugi Hoshigami, easily the tallest and maybe the toughest oni in the whole school. And definitely the bustiest.

>Wave back to Sanae
>What do we know of Yuugi?
>Do we know how well or poorly Konngara got on with the oni outside her clique?
>Find a suitable seat and seat ourselves

>Yuugi is a second year student. She has lived in Mayoiga for three years. An avid fan and supporter of the sports teams of Mayoiga, except soccer, which she finds boring as sin. She's a member of the school hockey team, her position changing from defenseman to goalie, depending on the need. Like Konngara, she too is a slave owner, but unlike Konngara, Yuugi gets along very well with her slave, and treats her very well. They're more like good friends than master/owner. In fact, Yuugi has described her slave, a mouse youkai named Nazrin, as 'the brains of this outfit' more than once. Yuugi may be the most popular oni in school, as though she may be loud and very 'physical' a friend to have, she is also a good friend, say those that consider themselves such. A quirk about her is that she never wears the school uniform, always an outfit of her own choosing, a white t-shirt with red bands and a blue skirt with red and purple trim. Some say she gets away with it by beating Unzan in a wrestling match, but that, to your knowledge, is merely a rumor. She enjoys karaoke and many genres of music.
>To your knowledge, the oni outside Konngara's circle were none too fond of her, but they didn't DISlike her either. She seemed to be something of an outsider, beyond her own little circle.

>You seat yourselves at the table currently occupied by your fellow Moonsiders. Minoriko, noting Sanae's attention towards you, asks, "Is that the other transfer student people in class were talking about?"

>Raise an eyebrow
>"The other transfer student?"

>Is Nazrin also a student here? What do we know of her?

>"We had one in our class, as well. An oni from Bonn, Agatha van Der Meullen." She frowns slightly. "I believe she said her family was of some high social standing, but I had a little trouble understanding her accent."

>Nazrin is a mouse youkai. If she has a last name, you do not know it. She is a first year student here. You don't believe she and Yuugi have been together for long. Yuugi's description of her as the 'brains' seems to be well earned, as she's earned a reputation of being one of the cleverest of the first years. She takes instrumental music with Letty, and is apparently quite talented with both the drums and the tin whistle. Rumors say she also has a talent for finding lost items.

>"Wow." The rabbit looks over at Sanae. "I hadn't heard there was a Rings opening here in town."
>"Maybe they kept it real quiet." Rin suggests. You've noted that Rin speaks more freely with Reisen than she does with anyone else.
>Reisen shakes her head. "I'd think the more publicity, the better, unless there was an issue with opening it."
