And, well, a huge burst of white (Jake's hope) just owned Grimbark Jade (powered by the Green Sun). This seems to be a common theory going around on Tumblr, as well.

Also, if you didn't like Grimbark jade, this blast may knock her back to normal... this death is neither heroic (duh) nor just (corrupted, yes, but caused by the )(IC, not Jade willfully), so I think any panic is misplaced (and boy is there plenty of misplaced panic on Tumblr).
