>They do not seem to directly aimed so much as designed to fill the hall with flak. They aren't as fast as some beams you've seen, thankfully, and are long and needle-like in shape. She seems to be sending them out at diagonal angles, overlapping them. They fly toward you, looking like so many claws stretching in your direction.

I don't think we can take on Sariel with danmaku. Best case would be we hold her off long enough that soldiers shoot her?

Judging by her last words, I don't imagine any soldiers are going to actively help us over her. At best we'll both get mowed down.

I don't think we could take her in a danmaku fight either, but we DO have Kasen sitting there. I think we could serve well as a distraction, at the very least.

I'll leave the overnight to you. I think it is worth trying to stay in the battle - with Sariel revealing her past role and future plans, we finally have an inkling of a good reason for the Empire to disband, and I have the feeling that capturing Sariel will go a long way toward that. However, it's entirely up to you. If you do stick around, don't forget that using objects in clever and unexpected ways tends to be rewarded in this sort of situation.

>You glance back in time to see Sariel taking to the air and flying forward. She draws her wings close and banks up and around Kasen's attack, while Kasen continues to move back. The former shinigami creates more beams, while Kasen begins to toss out a wide spread of spherical green shots.
