UPDATE!
I have figured out a way to make the cut-scenes  display correctly and now Reimu's cut-scene and ending are formated correctly and translated.
Also the character select is now in English.

Preliminary English patch version 2

to install: use editdisk.exe like with the th2soew patch.  You probably need to change your region settings to japan to apply this patch thou.

Last year I completed a project where I translated all the endings of PoDD (well, I localized them, N-forza did the translating). If you can figure out the formatting issue with the endings, it would make me very happy to see you use my translation to see a full English patch at last. The playlist for the endings is here.

Thanks! I've been waiting for English patches for Touhou 03-05 for a while now, so I'm very glad to see great progress. I'm looking forward to the final version of this patch. Keep up the good work.

Oh, we've a sneaky updater here.  We'll have to do more than just look for thread bumps, eh?

Slight poking aside, this is (at least currently) my favorite Touhou game, so I'm getting a huge kick out of this.  Thanks a ton for your work.
