ok ok ok so
i'm hosting Ten Desires Mafia, based off the 13th game in the
touhou project series, a semi-obscure japanese dojin bullet hell shooter series i don't particularly expect anybody on this forum to be familiar with.
this is an anonymous game, so all sign-ups should be over PM. hydras are not allowed. you can either name a specific character you want your anonymous to be when signing up, or you can just leave it up to the RNG (in case you don't care about 10Ds' cast or don't actually play touhou because your name is bardiche).
however, restrictions -
Reimu Hakurei is off limits, she's too busy being a mod account to join us and will be relegated to Sample Role PM Duty whenever the game thread is up n/m this game is 14p now. characters without names can't be picked either, so yeah no fukn hipsters roleplaying as nameless midboss spirit or a death fairy in this game. finally, if there's some character who only appears in an ending i haven't seen yet and never shows up during actual gameplay, you can't be her either
also feel free to request a 150x150 avatar if you want a specific picture for your anon account though i have the right to deny it if it displeases me for whatever reason
Ruleset:
- I'm the mod and my word is final, deal with it and don't try to find loopholes in my rules or do things that you would expect I wouldn't want you to do (if you're not sure, then ask)
- No Outside Contact, don't talk to people about the game outside of the thread unless your role lets you (this affects dead folks as well). when i say people i mean "anyone except the mods and informed observers", you don't even know who's in the game
- similarly: don't post at night unless I say you can, and if you're dead, you shut up unless I say you can talk
- don't quote communications with the mod (role PMs, night results, etc) or anything similiar (like comparing letter placement / worth length of PMs)
- don't screenshot things
- don't edit your posts
- day 1 will last 48 hours, all subsequent days will last 72. nights will consistently last 24
- 24 hours without posting = modprod, 48 hours without posting = modkill / forced replace
- the first time there's no majority at the time deadline, there will be no lynch. the second time, the game will instantly end in universal loss.
- if somebody hammers, stop talking until I post the flip
- if you're modkilled for a reason other than a lack of a necessary replacement then you lose, gg
- if you get somebody else modkilled, you are liable to be modkilled as well
- anything obvious that I forgot to mention applies

Set-up Info:
- day start
- this game is explicitly not a bastard mod game, but some or even many roles may be experimental or otherwise unexpected (think graveyard basically)
- vanilla flips will contain alignment and role name. power role flips will contain both those and reveal all non-factional abilities that were in the role PM
- at least 5 of the 13 players will not have any role beyond vanilla townie / scum goon / Some Third Party Thing, perhaps even more
- roles are RNG'd independently of your anonymous name, but will be given (probably contrived) flavor based on RNG result
- both scum and a theoretical serial killer may no kill without limit
- the scum role sent on the NK will not be able to use other actions that night unless allowed to do otherwise through role
- you will be told whether your action failed or not, but not what caused it to fail
- you will be told if your action is redirected
- lylo and variations will be announced
