> "Oh."
> Slide backward somewhat, then find a good layin' position and get ta layin'.
>You make yourself comfortable, and Chiyuri closes the seat over you. Or rather, she tries to, and you have to cry out for her to stop after a metal bar closes on your rear and compacts it painfully, as well as crunching the translator against your face. It takes a few tries, removing the translator, and a fair amount of shifting on your part to close it and not crush you in some fashion. Even then, this is easily one of the tightest and most comfortable places you've managed to squeeze into. You rest your head on it's side, and above you can see the bed of metal springs that makes up a lot of the seat. Ahead of you is the foot space of the vehicle, which is fairly dirty; you suspect that's why Chiyuri put the blanket down, you doubt you could pass for someone belonging in the palace while covered with floor filth.
>After a moment, you hear the door open, and can see Ruukoto's feet move into the foot area, while the springs overhead crunch as she sits down. Thanfully, the frame doesn't sag down into you. "We're going now," she says, "So just hold on."
>The vehicle roars to life, and you watch as Ruukoto operates a set of pedals with one foot the while the vehicle moves and stops, soon you are pretty certain the the left one makes it stop and the right one makes it go. "so, Chiyuri and the Professor told me to follow your lead," says Ruukoto, "so that's what I'm going to do. Don't worry, I'm sure everything is gonna work out just fine, the Professor's on our side, and you have me! I'm the best model there is, and it's going to show today! You just tell me where we're going when we get there, and I'll get you there for sure. "
>The trip doesn't seem as long as the last one, you think that perhaps Ruukoto is driving faster this time? You can't tell, but the sound of the road just under the floor seems pretty loud. But soon enough, Ruukoto tells you to keep quiet for the guards, while slowing down. You hear odd noises above, a kind of whirring, and then Ruukoto speaking with someone; altering her voice to sound like VIVIT. There is a conversation in the language here, and you hear a door somewhere behind you open. You tense up, in case they did see something, but there are no outcries or anything unusual. Then the doors close again and Ruukoto drives on for a bit, making a turn here or there.
>Finally, the vehicle comes to a stop, and then quiets. Ruukoto's feet move and you hear her get out of the seat. Then the seat lifts up and you are free. Ruukoto looms over you, smiling. "Looks like we got inside okay. Let me get your chair set up and we'll move." She bustles away. "Think about where you want to go first in the meantime, okay?"
