I haven't done anything recently, but I guess I can recycle things I've posted on my ig account  :] (So, yeah, shitty filters included. I♥love♥filters).

YAYoi. I was gonna use this for a gift (as part of a set of drawings) but I couldn't finish them on time. And later I thought that my drawing wasn't that good, in fact I was afraid that the person might not like it.
But, anyway, I finished it and experimented with a slightly different style :J.

Please ignore the dumb comments on the page ;A;.

I wish I could draw more ofteeeennnnnnn

Hyn:

aaaAAA a it's been months!

I've started to do more digital stuff. Now I prefer it over traditional, dunno why.

The candy cutie~

I also wanted to re-make something old, so I picked Hatate. Ohh, Hatate, yasssss.
She kinda looks like an idol. She's not based on any real person, though.

Freeze-Ex:

the had some changes of the style of draw
a slightly more realistic approach and a bit of illustration
I rly like that brush stroke on the hair
keep trying new approaches and invest them on ur work
we want more artz  :o

Hyn:

Thank you very much, Freexe-Ex! I have been experimenting a bit.

Recent:

I can spot some common mistakes I make, like Hina's super large head x___x.  But I'm working on that!

That tumblr palette challenge. I still have a looooooong way to go with colors.

EDIT: Improved Youmu, now 50% less calories.

Oh god, it's been YEARS since I've posted here :o. I decided not to start a new thread and edit the OP instead to showcase my most recent artwork -- if the mods think it's better not to revive threads like this, please notify me and feel free to lock this down.

Lately, I've been thinking of the most valuable advice I've received regarding my art and this particular comment came to mind:

--- Quote from: Kosmos on July 07, 2012, 04:27:42 AM ---A comprehensive figure drawing experience would go a long way for your development as an artist.

I would suggest this book.

Keep working at it! You can do it!

I'm very thankful to this person for recommending me Loomis and for straight up telling me "you need to work in yr anatomy". I think this kind of advice isn't given out as easily nowadays... when it's really, really useful. I updated the OP with my new stuff if anyone's interested!
