Never mind. I know that this isn't probably on the same league as the World Cup, but even then this is quite important because Germany and Porto are in the pool of ze Dutchies.

I saw both matches yesterday. That penalty kick opportunity in the Poland v. Greece game was wild. I know I don't follow soccer that closely, but still, I rarely if ever get to see a goalie get a red card.

And I notice the Netherlands are playing Denmark today. Where's Zengeku when you need him? :V

Greece vs Poland was indeed weird as hell. Especially being the first one. Russia pretty much steam rolled Czech, although when the 2-1 came I thought it was going to be tight.

Germany has to slaughter Porto because Ronaldo has to cry :V

The dudes that bought permission rights for broadcasting the early games are dumb and charge a hell of a lot of money for them. Guess I'm not watching any of those!

I remember that Russia was promising a while ago too. Made it to the semifinals, I believe... Was it '08 or '10?

I'm so sad Portugal lost, but hey it's Germany. 1 - 0 wasn't that bad.

At first I didn't care about who won at this year's Euro, but I guess being Brazilian made me root for our colonizers :p

Tbh I hope we see some surprise in this year's Euro. Maybe a team without a World Title making it to finals.

I liked how Italy was like leading 1-0 for five minutes before the tie came. Spain was seriously so horrible overall but had a few dangerous moments that could bring them victory. Not to mention that one ball that bounced on the goal line before being disabled.

I wonder if we're going to get vuvuzelas in the World Cup 2014?

Yes and no somehow. Ties may be frikken boring but can really mess up the ranking in each group. Then you got those "If A wins from B then A + C advance" scenarios. I prefer to see also countries rampaging through and coming out of the groups as true winners and not due to luck/point management.

There's also how a game that ended 0-0 can be a lot more interesting than another that ended 3-0. Score really doesn't mean a lot about the game in football compared to other sports.

Man, what is it with the "popular" countries having the most boring matches. England vs France was pretty zzzZzzzz but Ukraine vs Sweden was extremely enjoyable. That match was juicy!

Tonight Greece vs Czech and Russia vs Poland. The latter can become quite nasty and fierce in my opinion.
