I'm staying in a hotel with 2 beds by myself and wouldn't mind having a second person.  I know we don't know each other but I trust my fellow maidens.  Send me a PM if you're interested.

I think I found a pretty thin one, just need the 7 bows.  Also, I might just dye my hair so I can take it off and still have the right color.  I just need to make sure to shave really well, Mokou with a beard is a scary sight.

Still not sure how to make something like looks like fire I can hold in my hands. I have a friend who is an excellent artist, I might commission him to make me something for me.

what i did for the bows was take strips of white and red fabric and stitch them together

and then I cut out the image of the talisman on a piece of paper and used it to paint the image onto the ribbons themselves

it was pretty cheap and simple to do. just make sure the ribbons are long enough to be tied--my first set ended up being wayyyyy too short and I didn't find out until the con, 'cause I was dumb and didn't put them on until I got there

This is already the most impressive guest list they've had in recent memory.  I really wonder who else they'll manage to pull.

Otakon already has the best guest list we've seen in 3-4 years with three all-star seiyuu, Gen Urobuchi, and more. What more do you want? It's superior to what AX had this year. I'm extremely excited to meet Ai Nonaka and Yuuka Nanri!

Yeah they're setting their own bar pretty high with taunting us further (nevermind the whole 2013 = 20TH ANNIVERSARY ALL STOPS PULLED hinting we've seen for years)  and from what I saw from AX they blew them out of the water already this year.  Maybe it's another Yoshiki thing?

Sure beats years past where the GUESS THE GUEST contest was almost always a band or someone I had no chance of tangentially hearing of.

It's funny you say that about AX because they had their weakest guest list in years, while I have west coast friends complaining about how much more awesome Otakon's guest list is and how they're ultra jealous because they can't make it. Ai Nonaka has been on the most wanted list by many people forever, for one!

Nonono I agree, you read my statement backwards! Usually it's the other way around, I see the AX guest list and wish I was on the other coast (CLAMP  :ohdear: :ohdear: :ohdear:) but this year Otakon's got the upper hand.

Which is why I'm REALLY curious who's filling the remaining slots, especially the Friday music folk.  If Otakon wasn't so adamant about being a band/singer's premiere US stop, I'd vote for Kalafina/Yuki Kajiura to round out the rest of the guests.

Oh, I misread that. Whoops. Yeah, I have no clue why it's 11 days until the convention starts and we don't have all the guests announced or a schedule. Sigh. I guess I can't complain with how hyped I am for meeting everyone from the internet once again and seeing the guests.
