Flying types you can teach to breath fire are a different matter entirely. Charizard along with just about any dragon would be what you want."

> "Dragonite, Altaria, Flygon, Salamence, Haxorous, Hydreigon, Garchomp... Most dragons are both very tough and very tough to raise. Altaria is the easiest, and even it takes forever. Catching them isn't a walk in the park either, they will put up a fight. Hoenn is a good place to go for dragon trainers that are just starting out, Altaria is a good starter dragon, and Flygon and Salamence are both worth your time. If you hunt dragons you'll want a steel-type and some ice attacks as well; only steel types can resist dragons' attacks, and dragons are resilient to most anything other than ice-based moves."
