>Return for the contest. We can always return

> You procede to the park's main gate. You get there with 15 minutes to spare, and you aren't the only person there. - It seems the two the two guys with nets are there too. Contestants return one by one until only the guy with the camping equipment remains unaccounted for. Then you hear a horn.

> "Contest is over!" The ranger declares, taking all the contestant's newly caught pokemon. He lets each one out, and inspects it, although he puts some of them back fairly quickly when they snap at him. Like your Scyther. It looks like Edge is still pretty feisty. He then finishes, and begins the judging.

> "3rd Prize goes to the Venonat caught by..." The park ranger pauses to check the contestant list. "Benny." The park ranger hands one of the bug catchers 200 P.

> "2nd Prize belongs to Butterfree caught by... Samuel." He gives the youngster from before 500 P.

> "And first prize goes to Scyther, caught by... Mokou." He gives you 1000 P and shakes your hand. You now have 23,600 P. "Congradulations ma'am. Now choose your stone."

> Right. You win. So you get an evolution stone of choice, whatever those are.

> "The stones come in fire, water, thunder, leaf, moon, sun, shiny, dusk, and dawn." The ranger explains.

>Consider treating Flint for a job well done, in the gym and in the contest

>Go with fire! Whatever it can do, fire is the one to go!

> Go with Fire.

> "Here you go ma'am." You receive one fire stone!

> The ranger then takes the extra park balls and returns everyone's pokemon and items. "Today's bug catching contest is officially over!" he declares. "So if you'll excuse me, I have a lost camper to find."

> "I'll help." one of the contestants pipes in. "Ace trainer Nick at your service."

>"Heh, she's still got a ways to go huh?"
>We may as well head over to that group that was gathering.

> You head over to the group, which includes Nick, the ranger, and the elderly rodent lover from the contest. You overhear parts of the conversation.

> "...like Barry got lost. Again. So I'm letting you all back into the northern part of the park. Officially it's supposed to be closed, but should a pokemon accidentally find its way into one of your balls, well, you get the idea. We'll form two parties, one to check the northeast and one to check the northwest. Go out, call me if you find Barry, and then keep walking."

> You take out your map. To the northwest is Moomoo farm and Olivine City, the latter being the major port of the region. It has a large light house and a gym, but more importantly you can travel to most other regions via its port. To the northeast is Ecruteak City, which is home to a gym, an ancient dance hall, and both the Bell Tower and the Burned Tower. Quite a bit of the architecture rivals yourself in age. If you decide to join the search party, you figure you'll wind up at one of these two cities.
