My plan today was to hold off from 'claiming', or maybe partially so, until we're at the very least 48 hours in, since I believe I have a guaranteed non-town lynch.

Either that or Shadoweh and her set-up are completely insane. But yeah, jokes aside, guy is pretty much a surefire lynch.

And I'm holding off because not doing so would just cut the day short which is NOT PRO-TOWN. I want to see what happens first!

Thing is, do we really have to massclaim I mean this is kind of stupid honestly.

For you to believe this wall of bs is legit town blabber and not scum delaying their claim, I claim Alison Irwin, aka the second rolename mentioned in LLD's PM.

I don't think the first rolename claimed yet, now that I think about it.

I am TOWN PRIEST, which means I can not hammer anyone. This is provable as if I vote when it would hammer, nothing would occur, according to what Shadoweh has told me.

And yes, this is how I figured out what was up with Bob when I had that little dumb moment yesterday. I apologize for that.

Like I said, I'm Alison Irwin, was in Season 5 of The Amazing Race, apparently I have experience with ~being in reality situations~ so I gain the abilities of the first power role to die.

Aka, Town Universal Backup.

Now, I'm actually glad I'm putting this up early since I don't know if my ~mafia logic~ is flawed in this case, but in my experience putting "Backup ___" and Universal Backup in one set-up is so redundant people plain don't do it, ever. There's redundancy and there's "uhh what happens when they activate at the same time durr" which yeah just no.

If people reread late-D1 and see a weird flip-flop with my Dan read right after his claim, it's because he claimed BACKUP Watcher and later expanded on how it's not exactly backup at all. But now there's Affinity with his BACKUP Cop which I'm not buying, both because of my role and all the things HW mentioned earlier. Was it at night? IDR.

Now, about what I actually got. Abilities of the first "power role" to "die" is kind of screwy, especially since I ended up absorbing K4U's role and not Dorian's. So yeah, I'm not sure what went on there.

I have no idea who K4U targeted, or if her action went off before DEATH, but I targeted Chaore tonight so I guess he's not survivor/SK if they exist.

Opinions?

A town set-up with only a town cop and a bunch of red herrings is awful and absolutely swingy - town's power depends entirely on whether scum shuts off the cop (via kill or Serela) or not. It's stupid and RNG based, and given the pattern we've seen with the claimed roles, I don't buy it.

Also, the randomly instant night result was ridiculous.

Omba and Affinity are probably buddies, all things considered. We can lynch Affinity first if it makes you happy, but I have more CONVICTION on Omba.

I don't see this in either capth's flip or Nameless' claim. How does it even work? I think your claim that there's a scum rolecop was a slip instead of a natural conclusion. It's looking pretty likely that you rolecopped capth, used his role for a fakeclaim that you thought you could use to give yourself town cred (or shill Omba!), then adjusted it with something contrived once it was pointed out how stupid it was.

I'm gonna call the scumteam as Omba / Affinity / Serela / Nameless even though it's D3 and there's no scumflips. Because when your play is bad enough that you've already attempted to line up a lynch and forced a last minute wagon on a townie you considered a largely neutral read, there's no going back.

Omba is scum playwise for his inconsistent thought processes such as "Dan is town and Dorian's proooooobably town, but Dan's claim sucks for being unprovable even though Dorian's was unprovable too, Vote Dan with no further process", "BT is scum, oh hey it's D2 so I can ignore him except for when people are talking about scum dropping D1 opinions then later ignore him again", and "BT is scum, HW is scum... wait, no, Nameless is scum, ##Scan Chaore". He is also scum rolewise for claiming macho for no reason, being the only real role in a game full of functioning vanilla in a way that would make the set-up unnecessarily swingy, and randomly switching to a night action resolution that is overpowered and inconsistent with the rest of the game after previously stating that he bet the mod would end up giving him a night action resolution that would overpowered and inconsistent with the rest of the game.

Affinity is scum playwise for just rolling with the last minute LLD wagon and not attempting to push Dormio back into everybody's focus, and is scum rolewise because his role does not mesh with BT's (or Omba's doesn't).

Serela is scum playwise for not caring who the D2 lynch was at all or pushing his Affinity case seriously after D1 ended, and is scum rolewise for claiming at a time than it benefited scum more than town. That said, he's actually my weakest read at the moment.

Nameless is scum playwise for not advancing his cases D2 and only providing waffly wagon jump set-ups when prodded for opinions, and is scum rolewise for not giving Dorian's claim a second thought despite being the Vig Enabler.

That said, lynch today should be one of me and Omba just to get him out of the way first.

If I recall correctly, Pesco confirmed on IRC when people were herping around a while before the game started that the game features an uninformed majority versus an informed minority. If he was trolling and the game is all town, then he and Shadoweh should probably be banned from modding.

I'll repeat it as many times as necessary. Shadoweh is a dirty liar and I have been trying all along to ensure you guys weren't suckered into her Wrathie-gasm. :V

So here's the deal.

This isn't a "bastard mod" game because the mods aren't lying.

Dorian's role does not state that a cult exists itg, only that it kills cult members.
K4U's role does not state that a survivor or SK exist itg, only that it turns survivors and SKs into vanilla townies.
The "looking for" roles do not state that the role they are looking for is itg, only that they turn into that role if they target it.

Ergo, none of these things are in the game.
